Everyone rushed to the source of the sound and I furrowed my brows

There was no one here....Then who screamed?

"What the hell there's no one here" I heard Mateo say

"Could it be a prank?" Benjamin reasoned

"But who would pull such a prank" Leila said

Yeah who?......

"Guys ,Its probably just some bored jerk ,Let's go back to lunch" I said and they all nodded in agreement

I felt something unsettling ,Why would someone just pull a prank like that?

And that Scream?.........I'm probably just overthinking it

The Next Day

It seems everyone had forgotten about the Scream ,Everyone but Me , Leila,Mateo and Benjamin

But we didn't dwell much on the topic,We decided to believe its a prank as that's the only reasonable explanation

That Sunday

I went downstairs

"Where are you going" Mom asked and I was surprised a bit

When did she start asking me about where I go

"Uh to School" I said

She raised a brow "Today's Sunday"

"I know but I received a message that there's School Today" I said

She looked Skeptical so I showed her the message on my phone

"Okay ,Be safe" She said

Woah, Who's this woman and where's my mom

"Um Thanks?" I said and left

Soon I arrived at school

I felt a sense of Danger as I stepped into the school, It seemed so empty ,Was I the only one who had come?

I looked around as my heart started beating fast in panic

I don't feel good

Suddenly the lights started flickering, I gasped when the lights went off ,I was about to turn around and get the hell out of there when I felt hands on my back

"Hello Zahra" I heard a voice say and I screamed the loudest I've screamed since I was born

Suddenly the lights turned back on

"Geez you're such a scaredy cat" I heard Leila's Voice and I turned around and saw it was her

"Oh! You scared me"

"WE scared you"

"What'd you mean by we?"

Then Mateo and Benjamin came out of my hiding spots and my mouth went wide

"Benjamin ,You're also involved in this ,I mean ,I'm not Surprised about Mateo but YOU" I exclaimed

He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly

I sighed tch tch, The people you think are the most innocent, Sweet ,Kind are always the one that end up surprising you

"Anyways Where's the rest of this school's Population?" I asked

And they all shrugged,

"Maybe the Message was to a particular group of students alone" Benjamin said

"If so then where are the teachers" Mateo said

That might be the first reasonable thing I've heard come out from his mouth since I've met him

"Woah Mateo ,You finally decided to start making use of your brain" I said acting Surprised and he just rolled his eyes

"Ugh Stop your Lover's Squabble and Let's just go back home"

I glared at her "We are not Lovers"

"Sure I believe you"

It was of no use trying to explain to her

"Let's just go-" I was interrupted by a scream , A loud ear deafening scream

I looked at My little group with wide eyes

That Scream.........What was going on?
