Finally Explaining This AU

(Holy moly I didn't realize this had 1k reads already TYSM!)

So, I figured that it's finally time for me to talk about about my OCs' and the overall concept of this AU. I haven't written anything about this AU except for random ideas I have and I've been itching to finally tell you the full story behind it all. Also because Beyblade Burst Quadstrike was a real hoot and I've been having a lot of ideas.

WARNING: This is very cringe concept, so I wouldn't blame you if you hate it.

So basically, it all started when I decided it was a good idea to make my own characters. At that time I was very obsessed with birds, so I made a few bird characters. That's right, Stream used to be a bird, and she still is to this day. BUT MORE OF THAT LATER.

Stream's character was actually highly inspired from a character in My Little Pony. I won't tell who it is specifically, but I guess you can tell why I literally named her Streamline Skyscraper, I was just using the same naming style as MLP.

But then I started getting myself into even more cool films, these include Miraculous Ladybug, Pokemon, and of course, Beyblade. (I even considered shipping Stream with Cat Noir when I started getting into it lmao)

Now, even before I discovered these, I already developed a love for fanfiction (even though I didn't know it was called that). I've become a bit obsessed with making my own characters and inserting them into my favorite films. At the time, most of the characters I inserted are still birds, since I was a literal 10 year old with no braincells whatsoever and nothing I wrote back then made any sense.

Now, at this time I started thinking about who I should ship Stream with. Cause at the time I never knew Valt was the main character since I only watched season 3 so far. I even considered shipping her with Fubuki, since he was my favorite back then. But their personalities don't really go well with one another so I never did it. When I watched the rest of the seasons, I started simping for Valt, and I decided to ship Stream with him instead.

Then I wanted to show my irl friends my brilliant AU. Now, this is when I started thinking "Ok, I'm showing people my stories, I need it to be good and not embarassing whatsoever". So then I started making adjustments, like making my characters their own world to live in, changing some of their names and overall trying to not make a fool of myself.

And this moment was when I made the biggest decision of my life. I wanted Stream and Valt's ship to work, but Stream was still a cringey bird character. So I made up some complicated magic crap to make it so that somehow the two of them turned into winged cats. That's right, WINGED CATS. They're not even like- hybrids or anything, they're just literal winged cats! 

*sigh* What is wrong with me!?

So after that, I wanted to make a character to ship with Shu. Since the story was missing an annoying yet extremely lovable sidekick, I made Carla. At first I didn't know what to name her, so I just named her after a random character from a show I liked. So you may be wondering why I didn't turn these two into literal winged cats. Simple reason actually, because they haven't truly developed a bond with each other yet, and that was my only excuse lol.

I'm not going to bother you with all the complicated magic and power stuff, but I will have a short explanation about it. Basically, I had another OC who is a Princess AKA ruler of not only their world but the whole multiverse itself. She was a phoenix, and in this multiverse, only phoenixes are born with powers. But they also have the ability to grant powers to anyone they wish. Since Stream and Carla were chosen to be 2 of the many protectors of the multiverse, they were granted some. Some phoenixes can be evil though, and they grant powers for the wrong reasons, like my villain OC who is basically the main villain of the entire multiverse and is the reason why Theodore Glass is evil.

This also works with people from other worlds, which is basically happened to Shu and Valt. But when you grant powers to people from other worlds, they will also get another form, which is why Valt can turn into a literal winged cat now. But when you're not in a relationship with a pretty magic girl from another universe, you can still get powers from the phoenixes which is shown by Shu and maybe even Pax. 

And surprise surprise, they actually really love the idea! So then I made a Wattpad account (this was when I'm 13 btw) so I could try writing, even though I didn't publish anything at the time. But I still had a ton of ideas for the hilarious interactions between the beyblade characters and my own characters, so I started making more adjustments to the AU so I could publish it to actual people. So I made it so that these bird characters would turn into humans when they get transported into other worlds, but they could still turn back thanks to the power they were given.

The reason I made the Gacha versions of the characters hybrids was because I wanted to capture their other form without having to go through the painful explanation I'm doing right now. Yeah, they're not actually hybrids, I've been lying to you all, they're just creatures from another world who can turn into humans and turn back whenever they want. But the thing I didn't hide from you guys are their powers, Stream's classic electricity manipulation and Carla's ability to turn into Pokémon eeveelutions based on her emotions (I did not regret revealing that lmao)

But what I didn't tell you is Valt and Shu's powers, this wasn't mentioned in my random scenarios book since this book isn't the canon AU that I made. I dunno why but I just feel like Valt having the same powers as Stream would be accurate, since they got turned into literal winged cats because of how much they mean to each other. So yeah, two zappy cats with wings who can disguise themselves as normal people live in the beyblade world now. I'm still not sure about Shu tho, so y'all can help me in the comments about what kind of power suits him the best.

Now, it's time to explain a little about the actual canon AU.

So I'm not going to explain much since some people don't like spoilers, I'm just going to explain a bit about the timeline. Now, I'm sure you know by now that beyblade has 7 seasons (including Quadstrike). But in this AU, it only has 4, since Stream met Valt in season 2 (and because literally nothing exciting happened in season 4 and 6). Carla came a little bit later in season 3, since I thought it'd be funny if this annoying fangirl just appeared out of nowhere and starts making Stream's life more miserable than it already is. 

Another thing is that this AU doesn't focus much on the Beyblade battles and that kind of stuff. Some of the canon battles will be implemented because they are important to the plot, like Valt's final battle with Shu in the end of season 2, but other than those it won't be that important to the overall story.
