Chapter 3

"Oh Levy, you'd look great in this." Lucy gushed, pulling out a red, cocktail dress. Levy shook her head.

"It's a ball, Luce. Not a bar." the bluenette clarified. Lucy somehow had managed Levy to go dress shopping with her and so far, they've found nothing.

"Then what about this?" Lucy pulled a large, flowing, strapless, white dress from the rack she had been looking at. Levy turned around from her own row of dresses and peered at it. Her face scrunched up in disgust.

"It's bad enough I have to actually wear a dress. That one screams 'Give me attention!' Which I don't need." Levy crossed her arms, shaking her head as she sighed.

"Yes, you do." The blonde glanced at her.

"Well... I only need the attention of that kidnapper." she corrected herself. Lucy let out a sigh and continued to look.

     Half the day was spent with them telling each other "no" to a variety of dresses. Lucy couldn't seem to stop picking out "attention getters" while Levy couldn't help but grab the boring ones.

That was until a miracle happened.

"I like this one..."

"How about this one?"

     Levy and Lucy looked at each others choices before laughing. They ended up picking out the same exact dress. It was a long, slim, black, strapless dress. It had a slit that rode higher than her thigh on her left leg. It was both simple and beautiful.

"It's settled then." Levy smiled as they grabbed her size and proceeded to the check out.

"You're gonna need a garter, Levs." Lucy pointed out as they walked out of the store, into the mall.

"And why the hell do I need a garter?" The short female asked, crossing her arms.

"For your gun, of course! All guys are plain animals. And that means the kidnapper is going to look at your boobs, where your gun or weapons will be. He'll totally see something and know that you are cop!" She exclaimed, acting as if that was the real reason she wanted her to get a garter.

"Oh mavis, okay." Levy gave in with a sigh. Lucy let out a cheer before dragging the small girl through a variety of stores.

    In the end, Levy had a new pair of earrings, a pair of black heels, and a headband along with a garter, garter belt and a new panty/bra set from Victoria Secret. Not only that, but she also got a few extra things that Lucy did not let her leave the store with out.

"Luce, I'm not going to wear half the things you made me buy." Levy let out a sigh, looking at her best friend as she held up a red bra set. The bra had black lace covering part of it along with a black bow. The thong that went with it looked the same.

"Oh no. Levy, you're defiantly wearing that set." The blonde gave her a stern look as they walked out of the mall. Levy let out a sigh as they approached her car.

She set her bags in the back seat as Lucy climbed in the passenger side. Once all her bags were in the car, she climbed in as well.

Levy started up the car, the radio automatically turning on since they were listening to it before on their way to the mall. Levy backed up and pulled out of the parking lot before making her way to Lucy's house.
