As the isles woke up, Raine woke up not to much later. They slowly stirred in their bed, they rolled around slightly in their bed, pulling their blanket more over them not wanting to wake up, but soon a alarm that always woke them up at same time each morning began to ring loudly, which annoyed them. They groaned before reaching over and softly hitting the snooze button wanting to sleep awhile longer but they told their self that they needed to wake up. They laid there with their eyes closed as they slowly tried to wake up, they began to think just trying to wake their self up better. But as they thought more they realized and remembered what had happened yesterday, they groaned as they grabbed their pillow, reaching their arms behind them and pulling it from out under their head and then lifting it up and putting it over their face as she they groaned into it, the remindment bothered them of what they had done. They lied there for alittle longer with their pillow over their face before lifting it up and tossing it across their bed to where it rolled of their bed and landed on the ground with a soft muffled thud. They then sat up and rubbed their eyes, before reaching over and grabbing their glasses and opened the temples of their glasses up so they could place their glasses on their face. Soon taking their blanket off their body and stood up, they moved the side of the bed sitting on the edge of it before stretching and slowly stand up to their feet. They groaned as their body got adjusted to standing up. They then walked over to their door opening it before walking out of their room and towards their kitchen, they walked through their hallway before looking up to the wall were all of the photos were of them and their achievements, but then also many framed photos of them and Eda. They stopped mid walk and stood there looking over at the photos, they frowned as their ears lowered low, they felt horrible and it was eating them alive with how they felt just being overwhelmed. "Gah...I'm so sorry Edalyn... I truly am, maybe... Maybe I should talk to her, maybe we can talk about these issues... Maybe, I can figure this out..." They said to their self before turning back around and walking back towards their bedroom. Once back at their room they walked back in and walked over to their dresser opening it and pulling out some fresh clothes and then got dressed, they looked up into a dressers mirror where they stared at their self for a moment, Then let out a deep sigh. "I can do this... A-And if she doesn't want to see me... I will respect her decision..." They said to their self before walking away. Soon they left their home and walked outside, locking the door behind them before walking towards the path that would lead them too Eda's home,.
on the way there they tried to prepare their self with what they would say, they let out a deep breath. "Okay I got this... Hey Eda it's me, I'm so sorry about what I said... Can we talk? No, no that isn't enough." They would clear their throat and retry. "Hello, Eda... Listen can we talk?.. Please, I think we can work things out..." They mumbled to their self. "Yeah that will work! I think..." They said to their self as they continued to walk, as they got closer and closer to the ginger haired witch's house their stomach began to turn and their breathing got heavier and their heart began to race. The path they walked along was deep in the forest, the large tree swaying back and forth and softly whistling from the breeze going through their branches and leaves. They continued to panic as they got closer and closer to the witch's house, knowing that soon her house would be seen in the distance. But as soon as they thought that they saw the witch's house right there on the cliff, the red grass swaying back and forth next to her house and the beautiful boiling sea behind her large house. They knew where her house was but hadn't been there in awhile. As they began to move closer the owl worm demon Hooty was still soundly asleep, Raine had never met the owl worm nor had Hooty. Hooty knew Eda had a partner but didn't know what they looked like, and now with coven guards once in awhile trying to capture Eda he was cautious about witches he hasn't seen. Soon as they finally got closer to the witch's house they walked out the forest into the opening. "Okay... I-I can do this... J-Just speak to her... Easy as that, right?..." They mumbled, but soon as they made their way up to her door they were met with a strange noise. "HOOT! Eda doesn't like trespassers!" The owl worm called out loudly, before suddenly moving forward and wrapping around the teal haired witch's body like a large snake, quickly strangling their body. Raine's eyes widened as they tried to run at that moment but quickly froze and got wrapped up, they screamed out as they were tightly gripped onto. They cried out in pain from the quick strangling, the tighter Hooty got the more they lost their breath and their body ached. They tried to wiggle free and fight back but their was no chance of them winning to the owl worm who was much stronger. They soon began to black out from the air being squeezed out of their body as his snake like body wrapped around theirs. But as they screamed out soon the familiar witch Eda heard the familiar scream and cries of the other witch, her ears perked up as she quickly rushed downstairs and to the front door and looked out the front window that was near the door where she saw the witch being strangled. She'd gasp and quickly ran over to the door opening it and running out. "Hooty! Hooty! No! Put them down! Now!" She'd shout loudly to the owl worm. Hooty quickly looked up and froze for a moment before suddenly unwrapping and dropping the bard to the ground. "Okay!" Hooty said like nothing had ever happened, he soon slithered back into the door. But as he did Eda quickly rushed out before standing in front of the bard who lied on the ground gasping and panting for air, their body laying there limp and trembling, they soon regain their breath and slowly looked up hearing the witch step closer. The witch look very worried for them as they lied there but soon it clicked to her why they were here and why. "W-What....What are you doing here R-Raine?..." She'd said as she'd gaze down at them with tear filled eyes. They slowly sat up still panting as they placed their hand on their chest trying to keep calm and catch their breath as their body ached. "I-I...I wanted to talk... It's okay, if... If you don't want to ever see me again or talk... I will leave.." The bard said as they began to stand, but as they began to Eda quickly pushed them back down carefully. "Raine... Just relax for a moment..." She'd said softly as she still held onto them, just worried about if they were horribly hurt or not. They looked up at her a bit surprised but they did feel a bit light headed. They placed their hand on their forehead and closed their eyes. "O-Okay..." They mumbled out as they groaned softly. Their body felt horrible with the strangling pain and how they had the air strangled out of them. As they sat there they began to feel better becoming more aware of where they were and felt like they could breathe normally once more. The ginger haired witch gazed down at them feeling horrible to see them like this even after what happened, she'd reach down once more and began to pick them up again. "Come on, I will help you inside..." The witch said as she helped the bard to their feet and led them towards the door where Hooty was watching closely unsure why she was being nice to this bard. As she led them into her home Hooty opened the door for her and let her in with the bard but he was a bit suspicious of the bard having become protective of Eda. Raine stood up with the help on the witch softly leaning on her as she helped them inside, their body trembling lightly being nervous about speaking to her and having become shaken up by what had happened with them and Hooty. They were soon taken over to the couch by the witch and seated, Eda looked rather worried for her past lover as they were all shaken up. "Titan, I'm sorry about Hooty... I didn't know you would be... Well, coming here... Or I would have warned him... Let me get you a drink." As she turned away to get them a drink they reached up and grabbed the bottom of her red ripped up dress, slightly tugging on it stopping her. "N-No it's okay... I-I...I just want to talk about what... Happened..." The bard said clearly nervous, their ears pinned back as they looked down trying not to cry. The witch stopped and turned to look at them, her eyes widened as they spoke, her heart aching to see them like this not liking it when they were upset or hurt even after breaking up. She'd nod as she sat down beside them. "Go ahead Rainestorm..." The witch said softly to them, calling them by the nickname she gave them trying to tell them she wasn't upset. They slowly looked up to her with teary eyes a bit surprised she called them by that nickname. They let out a sigh as they looked back down, their body began to tremble with fright. They looked to the side as they began to speak. "W-Well... I-I...I just thought we could maybe work this o-out?.." They said nervously. As they said those words Eda's golden eyes widened with surprise, thinking full well that they wanted to break up but with them asking if they could work this out she felt a big relief. They then felt her soft hand reach over and grab their hand grabbing theirs holding it gently. They looked up to her surprised. Eda's eyes began to fill with tears as she gazed into their eyes as she held their hand. "O-Of course Rainestorm..." She said with a soft smile. They smiled back up to her until sighing, they looked at her with abit more serious look. "Now, if we are going to work this out... You need to tell me what is going on with you, what I've heard about you and this curse... You need to be truthful with me Eda... Please?" The bard said with a slightly pained look on their face, knowing she had been hiding a lot from them trying to "keep them safe" but they knew she was just hurting them more without the truth. Eda's expression dropped hearing them talk about her curse and all that she hadn't told them, her body trembled and she began to panic, a few feathers began to pop up onto her skin which she immediately tried to hide. "O-Of course... U-Uh... I, um...Need to go to the bathroom real quick! I will be back!" She said in a panic as she quickly stood up and began to move away. But Raine saw and could tell she was trying to hide again. "Eda! Your doing it again! It's like I don't even know you any more! Stop hiding from me! I love you! You can't keep doing this if you want us to have a happy life! Together..." They cried out as they began to tear up, they felt so lost with how she acted towards them now. Eda froze as she heard them cry out to her, she slowly turned and looked at them. Her body trembled softly as her hands slightly grabbed onto her red dress, more feathers popped up from the stress and worry she was going through now knowing she had to tell them. They gazed up to her with tear filled eyes as she stood infront of them. She gazed down at them as she let out a deep breath as she walked back over towards the couch and sat down beside them. "O-Okay... I-I know, I know I haven't been truthful too you... I-I'm so sorry Raine...I've hurt you, I've hurt us..." The ginger haired witch said out softly to them her tone saddened, and she began to tear up more. "J-Just...Just let's go up to my room, I need to get something..." She said as she stood up offered her hand out to them, helping them up as she then pulled away and walked to the staircase that led to the second floor of her home and to her room. The two witches both made their way up the stairs and towards her room. Soon they both reached her room, Eda seemed nervous about her room seeming to be worried about them seeing her room. They looked over the witch but their eyes soon fell onto her feathers that were spreading on her body, across her arms, neck and other parts of her. Their eyes widened as they saw her feathers, they had heard Eda had a curse but every time they asked about her curse she would deny that she had a curse or have had gotten one, she would always say it was the witches who hated witches who were wild, so they would believe her. But now seeing these feathers they knew she was cursed, their ears dropped low as they looked at her. "Why didn't you ever tell me?..." They said as they looked up at her with tear filled eyes, tears began to fall down their cheeks. Eda looked back at them abit surprised unsure of what to tell the bard, she left out a sigh. "I-I...I was scared to lose you Raine..." She said in a nervous tone clearly just terrified to talk about the curse to them. They looked at her and sighed. "A-And I just made it worse...It hurt you more without telling you, now there is nothing to lose..." She'd say to the bard. They looked at her with pained eyes as they walked closer to her grabbing both her her hands, both her hands were slightly covered in a few feathers as they held her hands, pulling her hands up slightly as they looked her hands over. "Just tell me... Please?" They said in a soft tone too her. Her eyes softer as she nodded, she led them into her room. Her room was slightly cluttered and her large nest in the corner of the large room near the porch and window. They gazed around her room abit amazed, she had never showed them her room having hid it. They then noticed the nest, they tilted their head and raised an eyebrow. She glanced over at them nervously, she was scared to tell them having hid it for so long. She soon led them over to her nest, then grabbed a blanket that was just thrown to the side of her nest having been to lazy and carless to fold it, she picked it up and lied it in the nest for them to sit on it. She then stepped inside the large nest, clearly it was big enough for multiple witches to sit in it, which was strange to Raine why she had this nest. They slowly stepped in with the help with the witch as she stepped in, they lowered their self as they sat down in the nest on the blanket. Then glanced up to Eda who's face was slightly red and embarrassed. "So, are you going to tell me?... All I've heard that you've apparently hid from me?..." They said to her as they looked up at her with soft eyes. They seemed not to be mad about it, which took a lot off of her and was more willing for her to tell them. She took in a deep breath and exhale. "S-So.. When we were kids, I was cursed... I don't know how or by who, all I know is that I was cursed...With a horrible curse... I turn into a beast... I'm sure you've heard, everyone talked about it in school after what happened at the Emperors coven tryouts... When I turned into that beast I've never have felt so much betrayal... Everyone there, everyone at school... So, I was scared, terrified... to tell you Raine... I...I was just terrified I would hurt you, or that you would leave me... But now, now there is nothing to lose now. Nothing... I completely understand if you never even want to speak to me anymore, see me anymore after I tell you..." She let out a deep breath before looking at them.
