He fought with all he had left in him. He would rather be dead than hurt anyone, especially his hyungs.
Yoongi - "If you die, this rock will shatter."
Jimin - " Please don't leave me, maknae. Who will carry me when I'm tired?"
Taehyung - "I wouldn't...
Several weeks later, Jimin, Taehyung, and Namjoon took Jungkook out for another lesson: Vampire Training 103, which involved levitating and flying.
Jimin is amazed, "Damn maknae. You fly better than me."
Namjoon smiles at Jungkook, "You've exceeded our expectations, Kooki. You truly are the Golden Maknae."
Jungkook was having so much fun. He didn't tell them that he and Taehyung were flying and racing every night. At first, Taehyung always won, but it didn't take long before Jungkook won every time.
He loved this part of being a vampire: flying, but he loved healing animals more. He landed next to Tae, laughing, and they playfully picked on Namjoon, who was still feeling awkward about flying.
Suddenly, Jungkook snaps his head around and flies off in a blur. The others finally hear what he did, a scream and the squeal of braking tires.
They come around the corner and Jungkook is kneeling over a young woman lying on the road. Before they could stop him, he was holding his bleeding wrist over her lips, letting drops of his blood fall into her mouth.
Jimin sends a mental call to Yoongi. There's been a terrible accident! Come quickly!
Namjoon yells, "Jungkook, stop! Stop right now!"
But he couldn't stop. He couldn't take his eyes off her. There was something different about her. He knew her and couldn't let her die, as she would indeed have succumbed to her injuries if he had done nothing.
They are all looking around, except for Jungkook, to see if anyone has seen what Jungkook has done.
You wake up and look into a pair of mesmerizing eyes. Locked in each other's gaze, you both remain quiet. You frown slightly as a sheen seems to be coming over his eyes. You notice a piercing glint on his bottom lip as someone suddenly pushes him aside.
"Move away from her now!" His face is replaced by that of another. His eyes, his mouth, the authority in his voice mesmerizes you, and you can't pull your gaze away from his eyes. 'Alpha.'
"Are you alright?" His softer voice touches you deep inside, deeper than your heart, waking your inner beast.

' MINE!'
You hear her claim the man who held out his hand, waiting for you to take it to let him help you stand. You wonder, 'Is he?'
She answers, 'Our mate.'
You reach out and hold his hand, rising to your feet, and you know she is right without a shadow of a doubt.
'We have been injured. I need a cat nap,' and your inner beast goes silent, which is when you realize your head hurts.
Jungkook backs into the shadows, afraid he may have gone too far this time. His hyung had yelled at him and pushed him away. A few minutes later, Yoongi called him forward to explain what had happened. When he finished, he moved back into the shadows.
Yoongi tells everyone to return home. Jungkook is expecting a scolding later.
In his mind, Jungkook hears, 'Jungkook, be waiting for me.' his eyes widen in shock, 'Oh shit!'
He knew he wasn't really in trouble all those times his hyung scolded him if he called him maknae, Bunny, or Kooki, but now. . .
