All the students were sitting at their house tables. There was a feeling of excitement on everyone's face. After a little while, the ceremony of choosing the House was about to begin.
Just then, Principal Victoria went up on the stage and stood. Behind her, all the staff members sat on their chairs. Principal Victoria was a slender woman. Her face was as long as a horse's. Her eyes were green.
Just then, Principal Victoria said in a calm tone, "Now, whoever's name I call will come and sit on this chair and place this cap on their head." After that, the doors opened, and new students started coming in.
Principal Victoria started calling everyone's name. "Cassiopeia Andeno," she announced. A girl emerged from the crowd. It's evident that she must be thinking, "What will happen to me now?" She sat on the chair, and Principal Victoria placed the cap on her head. Just then, the cap shouted loudly, "Hufflepuff!"
That girl went and sat at the Hufflepuff table. Principal Victoria called another name, 'Xenophilius Adamos.' A boy emerged from the crowd, his face filled with excitement. He went and sat on one of the chairs and Principal Victoria placed a hat on his head. The hat remained silent for a while, but then he shouted loudly, 'Slytherin!'"
The boy went and sat at the Slytherin house table. Principal Victoria called another name, "Oliver Lestrange." Oliver began to emerge from the crowd, and everyone was looking at him. He was wondering why everyone was staring at him like that. Oliver went and sat on one of the chairs, and Principal Victoria placed a hat on his head. The hat took about 5 minutes, and then he shouted very loudly, "Slytherin!"
Oliver was a slim and skinny boy with blonde hair. His eyes were blue. When the hat shouted Slytherin, a kind of understanding expression appeared on everyone's face. Oliver went and sat at the Slytherin house table. He was thinking to himself, "Many people had told me that I would end up in Slytherin house, I don't know why their guess turned out to be so accurate.
After that, Principal Victoria called out many names, and those people started to choose their houses. The last name was Narcissa Potter, and she was selected for Gryffindor house.
Principal Victoria stood on the stage and said, "You may begin your meal, and after eating, everyone should go to their house rooms. The new students will be informed by the house prefect about what they need to do."
Everyone finished their meal, and just as Principal Victoria had instructed, they all started to make their way to their house rooms.
