Tadashi POV
When I went into that fire, I was determined to save the man who had greatly influenced my life. Baymax would not be here without him. And he was another human. I couldn't deal with myself if I didn't save him.
The heat toasted my skin in record time. I tried to call his name, only to have smoke force itself into my lungs. I coughed violently. The air will kill me first.
Then I saw it--Hiro's collection of microbots. They were in a tight sphere. Fire-proof? Callaghan must be in there.
A large explosion rolled out to the front door. I prayed that Hiro would be OK. Flames danced on my arms. I felt like I was dying.
I ran out of the back doors. Miraculously I was still alive, if not on fire. With the last reserve of strength left in me, I jumped into a lake and blacked out.
