Chapter 18.

After a failed performance that was ruined by some mere mortal, the DBK family returned to the palace. The news of the return of the ruler spread quickly throughout the kingdom of demons. DBK, PIF and Red Son were in the Throne Room. None of them spoke. They were unhappy that some kid beat them. DBK sat on the throne. PIF stood beside him and their son stood on the other side of the throne. One of the clones informed them of the arrival of the generals and nobles. DBK ordered them to be let in. The clone nodded its metal head and turned and walked away. The huge door opened. A group of demons entered the room. At the very beginning there were generals, they were the tiger demon, the eagle demon and the fox demon. They were followed by lower-level generals, and finally by the nobility. DBK looked at them with disgust. PIF noticed her husband's nervousness. She shook her lover's hand and said "destroy them" which reassured DBK who nodded his head. The demons came close to the throne, but there was a very large gap between them and DBK. The generals bowed. DBK looked at them with contempt.

"Hello our lord. It's good you're back," said the tiger demon. DBK did not respond.

"We're glad you're back safe," said the demon eagle.

"The queen was so distraught that she threw everyone out of the palace," said the fox demon. PIF wanted to punch him. DBK shook her hand this time, which made her calm down.

"I learned that in my absence you wanted to choose a new husband for my wife," told DBK. The demons were terrified.

"You see, we didn't know if you would come back..." said the frightened demon eagle.

"You should never lose faith in me any more. you were prepare an army," DBK said with a cold expression on his face. Whispers spread around the room.

"The army... was just a preparation..." said the demon eagle.

"Preparation for what?" said DBK.

"We had really good intentions. We were amassing an army to... avenge you," said the tiger demon. DBK raised an eyebrow.

"And who did you want to take revenge on?"

"We were so distraught that the Monkey King had taken our king away from us that we were gathering an army for you to defeat him," said the tiger demon with a smile.

"Really?''

"Yes. We think you will surely want to take revenge on him for his imprisonment and of course for separating you from your family," said the fox demon. It was obvious that DBK was very nervous. The demons thought he was angry with Wukong. DBK wanted to rip them all apart.

"If I may.. on behalf of the nobility, I would like to ask that since you have returned, we could return to the castle and advise you again," said the demon eagle. DBK was about to snatch them all away, but he saw the shadows begin to wave and grow larger. He knew Macaque had arrived. He composed himself and sighed.

The shadows grew larger. The light went out completely. The demons were panicked. The generals began to look in all directions. They drew their swords.

"Fear not our lord, whatever it is, we will defeat it"

DBK watched the scene with amusement. PIF smiled and Red Son rolled his eyes. He knew his uncle loved to make a dramatic entrance, and he always did when he got the chance. But Red Son had to admit it was funny how the generals are scared.

The shadows knocked the weapon from the hands of the generals, which fell to the floor in surprise. The door slammed shut. The demons trembled in terror. The shadows created a small tornado. Then they stopped and Macaque and Wukong emerged from them. They both had a sly smile on their faces. The demons sighed in relief. The generals perked up. PIF, Red Son, and DBK were surprised that Wukong arrived, especially that he was wearing a lot of blankets?
