As Avi and Ira sat in each other's warm embrace, Avi broached the topic, "So, what should we do about the others?"
Ira looked thoughtful and replied, "I know someone who can help us, but to access their aid, we'll need to venture into Mystara."
Ira spoke again, her voice more confident and determined," Mystara is the collective name of the four main Isles of Slyrio. It is protected by an impenetrable dome, fortified with the most advanced technology and powerful spells. The dome is known as Mystara's Veil. Nothing, from the outside can invade it, and any foreign object touching the dome is instantly incinerated."
Avi was intrigued but slightly disheartened. "So, we can't simply go inside then?"
Ira replied to Avi with a smile,"We can enter. Mystara's Veil knows us. It will never refuse our entry."
Avi, though didn't understand what she meant by, 'It will never refuse our entry.' But he decided to trust her.
As a few minutes passed, Avi and Ira lay on the bed, both consumed by their own thoughts and worries.
Ira needed comfort, so she had asked Avi to stay with her. Avi couldn't comprehend the depth of what he meant to her.
Six years ago, she had made the decision to let him go to protect him, but destiny had granted them another chance, and this time she won't let go.
She had transformed over the past four years; she had honed her abilities and grown stronger. She will protect the ones she intends to protect.
As they lay there together, Avi's mind was filled with thoughts of Ira. While he couldn't help but worry about his friends, he had faith in her abilities to keep them safe.
In that moment, he reminisced about the time when he used to think something was always missing in Aashi. Now, seeing Ira, he finally understood what had been missing in her.
After a while, Avi noticed that Ira had yet to fall asleep. Concerned for her well-being and wanting to provide some distraction from her troubled thoughts, he decided to initiate a conversation.
Avi, looking a bit puzzled, turned to Ira and asked, "Hey, why are we dressed like this?"
Ira raised an eyebrow, curious, and replied, "What do you mean?"
Ira's face lit up with realization, and she chuckled, " That's what a normal person wears, here."
Avi was still intrigued, "Really? But they're so similar to Earth's fashion."
Ira smiled, finding Avi's curiosity endearing, "Well, you know, comfort and practicality are universal. These designs evolved independently on different planets because they're just comfy. Not every planet looks like it's out of a sci-fi movie with spacesuits."
Avi joined in the laughter, feeling a bit embarrassed, "I guess I got carried away with those sci-fi fashion stereotypes."
Avi's curiosity didn't wane, "So, how many planets have you been to, Ira?"
Ira replied casually, "Hmm, I've lost count, but at least 30."
Avi was amazed, "You've been to Earth, before also?"
Ira nodded, "Yep." She looked at him and said with a smile,"I had visited Earth, so many times that I can't even remember."
Avi nodded. Then after a moment of silence, he couldn't help but ask, "How long can you live? Mortal or immortal?"
Ira smiled warmly, "Nope, I'm just a bit luckier in the age department. Here, the average lifespan is around 110 years. We age like you do, but I've met some species that can live for 500 to 1000 years."
