Thorn had been staring at his brother's door for five minutes. His brother had come home four nights ago. He had never seen him like this, he felt like someone had just stabbed his brother in the heart. He understood afterwards that Tharn was going through yet another break-up, one of the worst, even the worst, he had never skipped a class before.

Thorn knocked at the door and to no one's surprise, no one answered. He gently opened the door to find his brother on the floor leaning against his bed, looking at his phone. Thorn could almost bet that the phone screen showed the last conversation between Type and Tharn. Thorn sat down next to his brother, he said nothing, there was nothing to say, everything had been said before.

The first two days Tharn had not managed to explain what had really happened without it becoming incomprehensible because of too much crying. When Tharn had managed to describe the whole evening to Thorn, Thorn had found that something was wrong, there was something wrong with the story.

Hearing the story, he could understand a little bit why Type had broken up with his brother, he had more or less found him in bed with his ex-boyfriend... However, he could not help but resent Type for not having wanted to listen to his brother. His brother was too nice sometimes, Type must have known that from living with him, right? He would never cheat on him. The proof, Tharn was at their parents' house waiting for a call that would never come, and not with Tar.

Tharn was looking at his phone, as if watching this conversation intensely would allow him to come back just before this evening. If he came back at the time, he was writing these words, he would get up before he could see even a hair of Tar and go home to Type. Type would still be his, he would not have left him, in the evening he would be able to hug his body and not just a bolster.

He wanted to call Type, he wanted to hear his voice even if it was only the answering machine. He closed his eyes to remember certain moments with Type, his voice when he was angry, when he was happy with him, when he was trying to make up for it... A hiccup from his brother took him out of his thoughts. He looked at his brother's face as he stared at his phone. What was going on? He had called Type unintentionally?

When he redirected his gaze to his phone, he could see from 1 that a telephone link was being established between his phone and Type's phone. From 2, it was not him who had made the call... Type was calling him! Before he even realised what, he was doing, he pressed answer. Maybe Type had dialled the wrong number, maybe one of his friends had picked up the phone, but it didn't matter in Tharn, he just wanted to hear Type.

Thorn wanted to take the phone out of his hands, but Tharn will never allow it, nobody will stop him from talking to Type, except Type himself of course. He was going to ask a lot of questions when he realised that Type's voice was far away as if he was not close to the phone. Type invited someone to come into the room. Into his room? Who was he inviting in? A friend? Or...? Where was Type staying anyway? At Techno or Champ?

There was no noise for five minutes, next to Tharn, Thorn wondered what was going on, he couldn't hear anything coming from the telephone and his brother didn't speak either. Taking advantage of the fact that Tharn was no longer focused on him, he took the phone out of his hands and put it on speakerphone, he also wanted to hear what Type had to say. However, he didn't expect silence, so he took a look at his brother before cutting the microphone off the phone.

"He didn't phone you on purpose? ", the two brothers looked at each other, it was the most likely solution.

Tharn knew he should hang up; he was ready to do so when Techno's voice was heard. Type was therefore at Techno, which reassured Tharn, he trusted Techno to be there for his best friend. He asked Type how he was doing. Tharn also wanted the answer to this question, he didn't know what kind of answer he was expecting. Was he waiting for Type to go badly so that he could find arguments to get back together? No, he wanted them to get back together, but he didn't want Type to suffer. So, did he want Type to be great? No, he didn't want Type to suffer either, but he wanted to have some hope of getting him back.
