Author's Note:
For those who may not know, the spare rooms in Abyss are separated into two sections: the male and female quarters. In the photo above, it shows what the rooms look like.
Hope you like the new update!

-Your POV-
"What a nuisance,"
I wake in a dark room, one that I recognize within the confines of Abyss' main town. When I come to my senses, I shift under the covers of an unfamiliar bed, then reluctantly sit up and slowly stretch my arms wide.
To my left, I see Yuri standing with folded arms, looking intently at me as I groggily yawned. I was still waking up, but for some reason, I felt increasingly ill... oh, right. I'd definitely caught a cold after being in the frigid weather yesterday... or was it yesterday? I wasn't sure how long I'd slept, and I couldn't see the sky since Abyss was underground.
And didn't I collapse on the way back from being ambushed by those mechanical guards? Wait... "Yuri, please don't tell me that you had to carry me back to Abyss..." I beg.
"Gee, well, that's just fine. Should I pretend I didn't have to haul you all the way to the nearest bed in the woman's quarters to save you all the trouble?" He scoffs.
"Don't lie," I laugh, "You know I'm super light right? I'm one of the much younger students at the Monastery, I'll have you know."
"All right, fine. You were not that hard to carry, I admit. But that's not really the problem..."
"And what is?" I inquire.
"Are you feeling okay?" He asks, genuine concern lacing his voice as he strides forward, gently placing a cool hand on my forehead, feeling for a fever.
"My body feels really weak," I inform him, yawning again. "And my head hurts a bit,"
"You still have a fever!" Yuri bites his lip, eyebrows pressed together, clearly worried, which made me smile a bit.
"Your hand feels so nice and cool..." I reach up and clasp the hand that he lifted to my forehead.
"Erm, you should rest," Yuri mutters uncomfortably as he removes his hand from my grasp.
"Aw, okay," I mumble quietly and flop down onto the bed. I'm about to close my eyes, but then I jerk upright, "Hey wait! One, are you planning on just watching me as I sleep? And two, what time is it? I need to get to class!"
I shove off the covers and slide my feet down onto the cold wooden floorboards. Standing as if I was just about to leave the room, I pause when Yuri puts a hand on my shoulder. "You're not going anywhere, friend."
"Why not? I have schoolwork I need to complete and tasks to do!" I protest, clenching my fists.
"You know that you're in no position to go to class right now. The Professor told me that she would excuse your absence. Now, rest." He urges sternly.
"Fiiiiine," I draw out the word, then realize that I was so tired that I'd fallen asleep in my school uniform, which I still had on, and was still damp from the downpour earlier. "But... Can I have a change of clothes?"
"Yeah," He curtly exhales, "I'll be right back,"
Laying back down, a throbbing headache surfaces, and I bury my head under the provided pillow and blanket. A minute ticks by as I clutch my head, raking my fingers through my (h/c) hair as an ache worms its way through my skull. It's not long before a female voice startles me.
