Valerie's pov ——————— "Val, what's this thing about Ruby talking to Oscar today?" Diego asked as I ate a spoonful of cereal "apparently he's trying to get me and Cesar out, " I explained after swallowing. Of course, I had to tell Diego what I did get get him out, and he wasn't too happy with it.
"Did you tell him that there's no way out unless you get jumped out?" Diego said, taking a drink of his coffee."Yes, me and Cesar both did." I said, nodding, taking another bite."Want me to take you to school?" He asked, sitting next to me "no it's okay. I need to tell Ruby good luck, then I'll walk with Monse and all of them, " I said, putting my bowl in the sink.
"bien te amo" he kissed my head "I love you to" I said grabbing my bag and walking outside I saw ruby walking outside I walked next to him and saw glitter on his face "why do you have glitter on?" I asked Luis and Luisa." he held the straps of his bag as I wiped some of it off his shirt and some off his face.
"Yeah... that ain't coming off" I stopped trying "okay see you at school" I said stopping in front of Oscar's house "yeah" he said nervously "okay good luck" I said fixing his collar and patting his chest then turning him around and pushing him to walk.
I ran to catch up with Olivia,Monse,and Cesar "hey val" the two girls said "hey" I waved at Cesar "me and Olivia are hanging out after school want to join" Monse asks "sure why not" I shrugged "so is Ruby talking to Oscar?" Cesar askes "yeah he should be, " I said.

Me,Monse,Cesar, and jamal were talking outside before our classes started when I heard Ruby's voice say, "I did it! I did it! I mean, it's done. I rocked that talk hard. And for a guy named Spooky, he's surprisingly jovial. " he was so proud.
"Wait, are you serious, Ruby?" Jamal asked, but Ruby was quick to cut him off."ruben. And yes, val and Cesar are out of the gang. Boom. Killed it." He said,'You did kill it. You killed it so hard that Valerie and I got promoted. " Cesar ruined Ruby's happy moment.
"No. Spooky, and I had an understanding." The worried look came back on Ruby's face,"just got a text. We're gonna start running for the Santos, " Cesar explains .no.no,no,no. That can't be true. He must be joking, " he stammered."compa,I love you for trying, but like we said, this deal is done, and I don't blame you."
"I blame Monse." Here comes an argument,"me?" Her head turns towards Cesar."Yeah, you're the only instigator and the frickin' honey bager. You don't quit. But now you have to. No more. We're done, " he fumed,"and so is ruben. I'm not man enough to bear that name, " Ruby said sadly, then walked away.
"That's not true you tried that takes a lot of of a man to talk to a gang leader and that's manly in my eyes" I quickly stopped him and grabbed his hand he send a sad smile "see you later" I let go of his hands and walked away.
I saw Olivia walk up to me. "What's wrong with Ruby?" She asked."He'll be fine. He's bummed he had to give up his room, " I lied,"still down to hang after school?" She asked, changing the subject as we started walking "yeah love too. What did you get first?" I asked as she showed me her schedule.
