Monse turned toward Olivia. "This isn't about me. It's about Ruby. He's in love with Valerie and Olivia." Monse says, still angrily."What -" Ruby said speechless. "Can we just all take a moment to appreciate the fact that for once, I was able to keep a secret." Jamal said happily,"you knew?" Everyone said,"So did val, " jamal admitted and pointed at me.
Everyone's attention went to me. I put my face in my hands in embarrassment. "Why would you sell me out like that?" Ruby yelled."What do you mean? 'Sell you out'?" Monse yelled back. Now everyone was yelling and fighting. I slid down my chair and went under the table. "Ya'll messed up!" Oscar yelled over everyone, making them shut up.
I got out from under the table and stood up. "we got business," Oscar said to Cesar. "What about the lockdown?" Cesar asked."It's done." Oscar walked out with Cesar behind him,"and ya'll wanted to kill me." Jasmine stood up "to think I made you partner in my company. " Ruby got up and left.
My phone started ringing again but this time it was Maria "hey" I said "Hey um me and Diego might me a few days. Something happened. I texted Geny, and she said it was okay if you stayed with them till we came home . " Maria explained,"Okay. Uh, what happened?" I looked at jamal, who was still sitting there."That's not a question to ask me, " she said, then hung up.
I groaned and sat back down. "How the hell is this my fault?" Jamal asked mostly to himself.

I helped Mrs.martinez with dishes after dinner. "Mrs. Martinez, did Maria say anything about what happened and why they aren't going to be back?" I nodded "okay if you want, there's an extra bed in Olivia's room if you want to sleep in there."

"Of course, Mjia,if you need, I'll get Ruby to walk over with you to get clothes," she put the rag down "okay" she walks away and went into the twins' room to get Ruby. "Nonsense.
