Valerie's pov ——————— I stared at myself in the mirror as I fixed the dress I had on. "Oh, Mjia, you look beautiful." Maria said with a big smile on her face. I let out a sigh, and I turned around to face Maria. "You think?" I asked,"Of course,Ruby's going to love it." She said as she fixed the skirt of the dress to poof it out more. "Thanks, Maria." I smiled."I know something perfect to go with this. " she clapped her hands together and quickly went to grab something.
She came back with lipstick, and she opened it and started to place it on my lips. "Now, if Ruby kissed you tonight, we'll all know." Maria smirks,"Maria! Tonight's Olivia's quince. It's her night. " I blushed slightly "mhm" she hummed,"and if you want to put this on, " she handed me a Mascara bottle. i took it as she walked away.
I departed if I wanted to put it on or not. I looked at the mascara for a second before putting it on. I smiled at myself. Honestly, I don't look too bad with makeup on. Diego appeared behind me in the mirror. "Ready?" He put his hands on my shoulders "yeah." I smiled at him through the mirror."Let's go, " he nodded his head towards the front door.
We left the house and drove to the church. "Call if you need anything, okay?" Diego said "yes I will, " I said, getting out."Te amo!" He called out "Te amo!" "Seriously?" Ruby looked at the paper."What?" Monse asks."There's a typo in the program. " Oh, that's the name " 'their' it's spelled with an e-r-e instead of e-i-r. Only e-i-r shows possession, " Ruby explained, pointing to the typo."Really? Do you think this is a time to Grammer troll?" Monse asks."jamal was supposed to double-check before they were printed." Ruby said, disappointed. "Add it to the list. He's a loser." I said, joining the convo.
"Hey, I know you're mad,but try and to temper your 'tude today. And be cool when jamal gets here. " Ruby rubbed my hand."He's not coming. We're better for it. " I said,"What about Olivia?
