After an eight and half hour flight to Germany the first thing I wanted to do was sleep again. Sleeping on a plane is never my favorite thing in this world and probably never in another one. There's no sleep for anyone since we're on a mission and all of us were running on fumes or caffeine.

Once Sam, Bucky and I made it to the prison where Zemo had been for the past seven or eight years give or take. It was a standard prison for this country. A lot less barbaric than the ones I've seen in the past.

We were escorted through the hall by one of the guards to the door. "He's just through that corridor."

"Thank you. Can you give us a moment, please," I said.

The guard nodded his head and went off his way.

"All right, I'm gonna go in alone," Bucky said.

"I thought I was gonna go in," I replied after Sam asked why.

"Well, Sam's an Avenger. You know how he feels about that. And I don't want you in there with him alone."

"Well it's not like you two are known for frolicking in the sun together," Sam said.

"He was obsessed with HYDRA. Him and I have a history together. Trust me. I got this."

Well, I guess what Bucky says goes for the time being. I still feel like it should've been me to talk to Zemo. He wouldn't see me coming to talk to him about this. Sam and I waited in the hallway hoping Bucky would come back with some answers. Going to Zemo was our lowest form of desperation.

When Bucky came back, he had a look of determination. He had something planned already, Sam and I weren't just filled in on the plan.

"Hey, um, I'm gonna need you to distract the guard behind you, okay? Then get Zemo and follow his lead," he whispered into my ear while the three of us walked through the place trying to leave.

I didn't question it. The next group we saw was my opportunity to move things how Bucky wanted.

Sam looked back at me wondering what I was doing. I shooed him off saying I was fine. I didn't have a clear plan in mind but I did have something up my sleeve.

"Excuse me, sir? Do you mind giving me a ride to the nearest hotel? The men I came in with didn't want to wait for me. You see, I just realized this is the same prison my ex-husband is in. Am I allowed to see him?"

"What's his name?"

"Hugo Keller."

"That's not a name I am familiar with. Come with me and we can go check together."

We were walking down the hall when the alarms started sounding off. A fight must've broken out somewhere. I guess this was a part of Bucky's plan. Breaking Zemo out of jail. Not the best one but the one that'll get us immediate answers. I grabbed the guard and there was Zemo. Out of the cell he was once in.

"Hello, Miss Rogers. Nice to finally meet you," he said, grabbing the guard from me and taking him into the restroom. Zemo knocked the man out and switched his clothes.

He came out patting down the clothes looking for something I was holding in my hand. "Looking for this," I asked, showing him the keycard lock.

"Yes, now give it to me so we can meet up with your boyfriends."

"They're not my boyfriends. Now let's just get out of here."

He and I made it through the building as though he was escorting me out to safety. Tripping the fire alarm on the way out just added more chaos to be contained. We used it to our advantage by sneaking into an empty cell and hiding behind the door. Once the hallway was clear, we made it out through a staircase no one thought to use.
