The boys and I were half way back to Zemos place when he woke up. I was mainly holding him up with my arm around his waist and his draped over my shoulder. Bucky gave up on him only a minute after.
He didn't waste a second of the care I was giving him when I had him lie down on a couch with a warm towel on his face. When I examined his face farther now that he was awake, I could tell that Walker hit him in just the right spot. Zemo and him are extremely lucky for this.
I was in another room getting the ice ready for him. I could hear him and Sam having a conversation but I didn't really pay attention until I heard Sam mention my name.
"And if that's how you feel, what about Autumn and Bucky," he asked. "Blood isn't always the solution."
I waited by the door for an answer from Zemo but it never came.
"Something's not right about Walker," Bucky said, walking through and barely missing my shoulder when I walked past him.
"You don't say," Sam and I said together.
I sat next to Zemo on the couch now holding the ice in place to keep any swelling down. I felt him place his hand around me as a thank you and to pull me a little closer. I don't know what his intentions were but I could feel a certain someone's eyes staring back at me. If it was to make Bucky jealous he was doing a great job at it.
"Well I know a crazy when I see one. Because I am crazy," Bucky said.
"Can't argue with that," Sam retorted. I scolded him for that one.
"Bucky, if you're crazy then I'm psycho," I said. He didn't listen to me and started bickering with Sam until Walker and Hoskins bursted through the door.
"All right. That's it. Let's go. I'm now ordering you to turn him over," Walker demanded upon his dramatic entry.
"Hey, slow your roll. Let's be clear here. Shield or no shield the only thing you're running in here is your mouth. Now, I had Karli and you overstepped," Sam said and then motioned to Zemo who now had gotten up from the couch. "He's actually proven himself useful today. We'll need all hands on deck for whatever's coming next."
"How do you want the rest of this conversation to go, Sam? Should I put down the shield and make it fair?"
Just as Walker placed the shield against a pillar, a spear went straight towards him. The eight hours for Zemo must be up. Two more of the Dora walked in.
Ayo was one of them. She talked to Bucky in her native tongue. "Release him to us now," she said, closing her statement.
Walker really had the audacity to introduce himself to her. "Well let's, uh, pout down the pointy sticks and we can talk this through, huh?"
She knows who he is and does not give one shit about him. She looked at him with disgust.
"Walker, you should try and fight me first before you try it with the Dora Milaje," I said sternly.
"The Dora Milaje don't have jurisdiction here-"
"The Dora Milaje have jurisdiction wherever the Dora Milaje find themselves to be," Ayo said matter of factly.
Walker tried to put his best foot forward but it was his worst idea yet. Him and Hoskins were fighting them while Bucky, Sam, Zemo and I watched from a safe distance. It was quite comical to see them both get their ass handed to them.
"We should do something," Sam said to Bucky and I.
I shook my head no not wanting to get involved. I've trained with them and I know all of their tactics for and against anyone. I'm not getting in the middle of that.
