Going through my for you page on Instagram. To look for acrylic nails inspiration. The time I was working I completely forgot to give myself a me-day.
I wanted to do something good for myself, something new and fresh I haven't tried out on me. I'm planning to get short french tip nails. Haven't done those yet, might as well try and see how it goes.
Having that in mind I started going through my saved photos on Pinterest, of the hairstyle I wanted to do. What I have now is my hair in a 40 inch chocolate brown wavy wig. I got tired of the wig and the hair color.
Don't get me wrong, the hair color really compliments my skin tone nicely. But I needed something different for a change.
One picture I came across while I was scrolling. I found interest in getting this hairstyle. I saved it to my photos on my phone, the same I did for nails.
Feeling a little bored, I plugged in my headphones to the screen In front of me. Looking to see if some of my favorite artists are there.
For a few minutes I found one of my favorite artists; Jhené Aiko. Right when I was about to click and start the playlist.
"Good afternoon passengers, we are now crossing the Pacific Ocean, we now have 7 hours left before reaching Michigan. Sit tight and enjoy the flight, that is all," the flight attendant said in English above their French accent before translating it to French.
7 hours left before I reach my destination. I pressed play on the first song, W.A.Y.S. I began to sing quietly to myself and closed my eyes:
"You have gotta lose your pride
You have gotta lose your mind
Just to find your peace of mind
You have got to trust the signs
Everything will turn out fine"....
