Khadijah POV
Bellevue, Washington📍
"So far I've packed my hygiene products and my hair supplies."
Standing and staring directly at my almost half way full suitcase seeing if there's anything else I'm missing. This being my second suitcase I've packed, the first suitcase contains most of my clothes.
It just crossed my mind that I haven't packed my laptop and any other technologies I may need on my time away. I began putting all that in my large brown handbag before walking to my dresser and opening the first drawer. I pulled out the whole thing. Behind were a few handguns I had hidden there for later use in case.
"Ok I'm ready to go," zipping up the last suitcase, I rolled it down with my other suitcases and my handbag on top. I went straight to my car after locking my condo door behind me. I was successfully able to stuff my luggage's in the car and trunk without struggling.
I hopped into the driver seat and snapped my seatbelt on and turned my car keys to start my car.
My car roared to life, I skimmed through my phone that Bluetooth connected to the car to see what song to play to start off my long drive to the White House.
I'm just tryna protect my space (oh)
I don't really need the pain
But I love to feel the pain
Maybe I could use a break
Humming to "Deep" by Summer Walker as I drive and head to my destination.

What on earth is taking this guy so long?
"Marcus how much time do we have left?"
I was in an all blacked out car, windows tinted and everything waiting in the front of the freaking White House main entrance. I started bouncing my right foot up and down, waiting impatiently for Semaj to come already so we could make it to our flight.
"About thirty minutes left before departure"
Cursed under my breath in hearing that we only have a few minutes left. I look through the tinted window, searching for the tall male but he's nowhere.
"Do I have to do everything myself?" I grumbled and opened the door, I was going to make my way in to search for the late person.
Before I even stepped out of the car I heard knocking on the other side. Turning over where the sound is coming from I shuffle towards the car door across from me.
I rolled down the window and was faced with Semaj's tooth grinning smile. He waved at me all smiley which was irritating to see, when he's clearly the reason we're late.
"Why did it take you so long?" I asked
"I couldn't choose what I wanted to take with me, so I packed everything you can possibly think with me."
Semaj got himself situated in the car, having his bags and many other suitcases packed in the trunk with the help of Marcus of course to make things faster. I couldn't tell if Semaj was serious about packing his whole closet for his protection. Then again anything is possible for him to do if he wants to get it.
The whole way of us driving to the airport was surprisingly not bad, I mean if you don't count Semaj trying to hit on you or starting up small conversations here and there. Other than that it was good, I was able to write a report or well you can say creating a file for Vanessa for later purposes. No doubt within the position I'm assigned to I'm still going to find more stuff about Vanessa's whereabouts.
We made it to the airport and waited for the private jet to be ready, I turned to Semaj
"Before we step foot on this jet, I feel we should set some rules, don't you agree?"
His eyebrows knitted into a curious look, his eyes came down to meet my gaze. I wanted to have at least boundaries set for the given two months staying with him.
"I don't think it's necessary for us to have rules. I mean we're both responsible adults, there shouldn't be any worries of anything happening, don't you think?" he said.
"I doubt you're a very responsible adult and I'm setting rules for your own protection and for my sake" I explained, moving a strand of hair from my face and moving it behind my right ear.
"Oh c'mon I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself well without having someone babysit me and watch my every moves"
Semaj kept ranting on about him being able to care for himself. I was starting to lose patience with him every second. Only to pray for the jet to come quickly because I don't know how long I can do this.
I feel I need to remind myself that this it's only two months, nothing more. I can't possibly be already done with this work when it barely started.
I was snapped out of zoning out when I was faced with Semaj being so close to me. Almost feeling his body heat if that makes any sense, his scent faintly lingered in my nose.
"Pretty face, are you listening? I was trying to tell you our jet is here but I can see you've went to somewhere else"
"First off back a bit, you are too close and secondly, I'm your babysitter or close to whatever protection you have. If I say we need rules just to make sure you're still alive at the end of this then I'll set some rules, got it?"
Not giving him any time to respond back to me, I walked towards the jet's entrance. Leaving behind Semaj to come later on his own time after leaving him to think.

Malibu, California📍
"We're here! Let me help take out you guys bags and set them inside"
I thanked Marcus before he exited out of the car. I got out after and walked towards the front door of the house. It was indeed a beautiful place to stay for the vacation and I guess best fits our situation.
As I kept walking I admired the hallways of the place, there a light beige color and matching with the brown mahogany flooring. The type of house structure was just perfect, fitting the Mediterranean aesthetic villa I see sometimes. I moved to the kitchen and it was nice and very simplistic. There's a lot of earthy elements around the kitchen but it's everywhere as well other than the kitchen.
I went upstairs to check every room there before deciding to stay in the second to last room upstairs.
"Thank goodness the bedrooms are big"
I dropped my bags and kicked my shoes off and bolted to the bed and landed on it with a huff. Moving around to make myself comfortable, in all I was just so pleased to finally have peace and quiet again.
I turned on my back, snapping my eyes to the ceiling where a wide brown ceiling fan sits. Contemplating on what to do next, a loud crashing noise I heard coming from outside my door. Becoming my new task, I grumbled and slumped on the bed slowly sliding off from it to go check out what's happening.
"We've only been in this house only for thirty-five minutes!"
