Lauren's POV:

Honestly, I don't even remember falling asleep last night. And frankly, I hardly even remember what happened before coming into this hotel room.

It was early, I knew. Sade told me she needed to leave at six for her flight at eight. And though I'd literally be seeing her later on tonight in New York, I dreaded us ever leaving this bed. Right here in this position, where she held me in her arms as the two of us spooned, I could've stayed this way forever.

However, to my internal protest, her alarm went off, and she stirred before reaching behind her to silence it.

She turned back into me and I felt her cheek on my shoulder. I remained lying still, as if I was still asleep while Sade hugged up to me with her arms snuck around my torso.

Feather light kisses were then planted on my shoulder before I felt her pull away again. Simply not wanting her to go, I grabbed her wrist before her hand could slip from my waist. Sade came back with a chuckle, kissing my skin again,

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

"You didn't," I muttered, my voice now a bit hoarse.

Her body scooted upward against me as her hand slid from my stomach to hold my breast. Her other arm rested behind my head, and I felt her move my hair to the side to lay on the pillow, and then kisses on my neck right after.

"Sleep well?"

"Mm, better than ever," I smiled to myself, feeling her soft caress on my breast.

"Good," she said, nibbling on my ear and making me giggle a bit. "You know it's okay if you want to rest for today, and come tomorrow. I know you're tired Honeybee."

I shook my head. "No, I don't want to wait. Sleep can wait," I said while yawning.

Sade chuckled,

"Okay, but at least take a nap or something today." I didn't give a response and she shook me a bit, making me laugh again. "Okay?? I'm serious Lauren, you need your sleep," she said softly, nuzzling into my neck.

"Okay, I hear you," I sighed. "I'll nap when I get home."

"Good." I then smiled, knowing she wouldn't think I wasn't talking about my house here in LA. Then she paused, and I suppose my lie had been caught. "Wait, you're talking about here, right?" Her question was met with silence as I smirked and pretended to hear nothing. "Right, Michelle?"

Fingers tickled my sides, causing me to squirm in a fit of giggles.

"Okay okay," I exclaimed, catching my breath. "I'll take the stupid nap gosh- you ain't even have to middle name me like that," I huffed, now laying on my back.

Sade's eyes admirably wandered my face before meeting my gaze. When she leaned down to kiss my temple, I smiled as she pulled away.

"I love you," she whispered, making my eyebrows knit with emotion.

"I love you too Emerald..."

Without breaking eye contact, she reached to grab my hand, and interlaced our fingers before pulling mine to her lips. Curving my lips into a soft beam, I watched as she planted three pecks on the back of my hand.

"I know I'll see you later, but I honestly don't want you to leave," I admitted softly. Sade shined a faint smile toward me, resting her head on her propped hand,

"I know, me too." Her thumb caressed my hand and she kissed it one last time before shifting to get out of bed. "But it's alright, because after today, we won't have that problem."
