Nicks POV:
I looked frantically between the two boys now throwing punches left and right. Justin seemed to be losing by quite a bit and I faltered going to his recue. I wanted to help him, but I didn't know if I could hurt the green eyed boy; every time I saw him something in me just connected and my heart just sped up. As I locked eyes with him I had a flashback of when he had the gun up to my face and flinched. I jumped out of the car stepping between the two boys. As they punched wildly I felt a burning sensation on my face and a crack as a fist connected with my nose. I looked up to see a wide-eyed Justin.
"Nick... I swear I didn't mean too... you can't just run in between... I'm so sorry" he said pleadingly. I held up my finger to silence him, holding my bleeding nose with my other hand. I looked at the green eyed boy to see him still glaring at Justin. My heart skipped a beat but I quickly shoved it aside. Bringing my fist back I punched him straight across the face and watched his body crumple onto the gravel unconscious.
"Pick him up and throw him in the back, then drive to the hospital, I think you broke my nose" I growled.
"Why'd you punch him? I was the one that hit you" he mumbled looking very interested in his shoes.
"Because, nobody hits you and gets away with it" I said slamming the car door. Justin nodded silently but seemed content with my answer as happiness shun in his eyes.
We walked into the hospital, Justin with the boy slung over his shoulder and me still holding my bleeding nose. I nurse looked over to us and frowned.
"What happened here?" she asked skeptically. Crap... hadn't thought of that.
"Umm... I walked into a door." I said firmly. She nodded her head obviously not believing me. She pointed a finger at the boy
"and him...?"
"He walked into a door too." I said eyes innocently wide. She shot me a look that said she didn't believe me one bit but sighed none-the-less. Someone came over with a wheelchair and Justin dropped the boy in it, trying little to be gentle. After filling out some paper work, the lady led me to a room, still shaking her head at my pathetic excuse.
Justins POV:
I walked out of the hospital room following the directions the nurse gave me to Nicks room. I had a few bruises that they checked out but nothing detrimental. I opened a door to see a giggleing Nick swinging her legs wildly off the side of the bed. She looked over at me and squealed then jumped into my arms.
"Justin!" she said laughing.
"Nick.. you ok?..." I asked as she patted my head. She looked at my face and nodded her head vigorously. I noticed a white strip across a crooked nose. I frowned and looked towards a frazzled doctor who eyed Nick.
"What happened?" I asked still holding a giggling Nick.
"She broke her nose, but every time we tried to snap it back into placed she'd punch one of the doctors and say not to touch her. We gave her some drugs to calm her down, it should ware off in a bit." he said wearily. I looked at Nicks wide eyed grin and laughed, this should be fun.
"Hey nick, what's your favorite color?"
"56" she said seriously. I laughed.
"Favorite food?"
"Star Wars" she said after a slight pause
"Who am I?"
"You're a wizard Harry" she said now giggling at her joke.
"And who's your favorite person ever?"
"The green eyed boy that I punched." She said smiling. Well that stopped me in my tracks...
