Chapter Thirteen| Home?*

Two Days Later

Ashton's P.O.V

We get back from the gym and take a shower. Once I get out and get dressed I get in bed. "Cuddle time?" Demi asks. "Mmhmm." I say opening my arms for her to crawl into. She gets dressed and gets into bed and in my arms. " I was thinking. Since we're getting married, we're going to have to live together. Not like we don't practically already. But I was thinking, maybe we could buy land and get a house built. What are your thoughts on that?" I ask. "You want a house? Like a home?" She asks. "Yeah, would you rather have a nice apartment or a condo or something because that works for me too," I say. As long as I'm with her I honestly don't care. "That sounds really nice. Ignore my shock, amore mio. I'm still getting over the trauma of my ex. I was told I'd never be enough for anyone so the fact that you not only want to marry me but want a home with me has me amazed," She says.

"Vita mia, of course I want a home with you. Eventually, if you do too, I want kids with you. Honestly on that one I don't care either way but you get the point. I want to be with you. For the rest of my life. We can have as many dogs and cats as you want," I say. "I love you. We can talk to a realtor as soon as you want, where would you want to buy land? Also on the kid thing, I'd prefer to be animal parents," Demi says. "Wherever you want and I'll be happy being a dog or cat mom," I say. "You already are one. Barry loves you." All of a sudden Barry throws the door open and hops up on the bed. "Who's my good boy?" I ask as he weasels his way between us so we are both cuddling him and he licks my face. "I love you too boy," I say, kissing his heart shaped nose.

"What do you think Barry? New home to destroy your toys in? A nice yard? Maybe some siblings?" Demi asks him clearly, getting excited. He licks her face and flips so he settles into her. "Rude," I say, crossing my arms. "That's mama's boy," She says, kissing his face. "Where would you want to go since we could go anywhere with work?" I ask. "Well, as much as I like it here, I actually really liked it when we went to New Hampshire. Yeah, you said the snow sucks, but you don't have to worry about the terrible storms like we do. But if that triggers anything for you we don't have to at all. I don't want to do anything that'll upset you, " Demi says. "No, I actually really like that idea. Maybe we can find a beach house. I know you said you missed living near the beach, I can try to either find a house we like already built or build one," I say. "Either way, I'll be happy as long as I'm with you. And then we can have a huge party!" She says excitedly. I love how happy she is. I was worried she wouldn't like the idea.

We spent the day finding a realtor and making calls. We finally find one and tell them what we want and they say they'll get back to us. By then it's lunch time. "What do you want to do today? I have my hair appointment at three but other than that we have nothing to do," I say. "What are you getting done?" She asks. "I'm doing black with rainbow streaks. Triple H thought it would look cool. I gave him 5 options but he came up with that one and I really liked it," I said. "I think it'll look hot," She says. I feel my cheeks get hot. She never ceases to make me blush. "How about we go get lunch, then get your hair done. When do you think we can plan a date night? It's been a while," Demi says. "I know love, can we have a date night tomorrow? We don't have to leave until the next day," I say. "Ok, I want to plan it!" She says. "Ok vita mia," I say, kissing her forehead.

Hair Appointment

"Hey Sheila, did Paul message you what we were doing?" I ask. "Yes but he said to blind fold you and use my creativity. He said Demi can see but you can't," Sheila says. "Rude," I say. "He knows I won't make you look stupid and he knows Demi won't let me let you look stupid. We're also doing your nails today. Which he also booked without your knowledge, don't worry, you'll like them," She says. "Well, I know I'm excited," Demi says. "Don't worry Ash, I will still leave 2 a normal length, your fans will think it's cool, the older ones will catch on and Demi will appreciate it," Sheila says once I'm already blindfolded and in the chair. I just go muter and flip her off. "You love me," She says. "I do but grr," I say. "Also, we need to touch up the eyebrow slit, no gay client of mine will have full eyebrows," She says. "It's illegal," Demi says laughing. I love that laugh.
