Two Months Later
Rhea/Demi's P.O.V
"How far from here is the next house?" I ask Ash as she drives. "About 5 minutes, love. Don't lose hope. I've seen pictures of this next one. It's in our budget and it's gorgeous. We can renovate it or add to it and it has a huge yard. I think it might be the one, Vita Mia," She says. "I know amore mio. It'll work out. It's just that we've looked at 6 houses today. I know it's a multiple day thing I'm just kind of tired," I say. "After this we can get lunch and check into the hotel. We can take a nap and then maybe later we can walk the beach." "That sounds nice." We get to the next house and Lisa is already there. "Ash, I know we looked at this one online and you said you wanted to show Demi. Hopefully this one you guys will like if not I will definitely get back to the drawing board. There is also buying and reconstruction so we could always find land you like and knock the house down. Although, Demi, Ash did tell me she thinks you'll really like this one," She says while we stand at the door. It is gorgeous from the outside. The front has beautiful cobblestone steps and a beautiful arch awning over the door. That'll be good when it rains.
We walk in and there's a chandelier hanging from the ceiling above the walkway to the stairs that lead down to what I guess is a basement. "We are actually going to take these stairs first and look down here to see there is a game room/entertainment center. There's enough room for a large TV and speakers for gaming consoles and movies, a pool table, a couch, even a fridge if you wanted," Lisa says. "So far so good," I say. Ash looks at me and smiles like a little kid. Maybe there really is hope of living out here. We went back upstairs to see the living room. It has two bay windows and enough space in between for a Christmas tree, I know Ash will love that. There's a fireplace with black brick around it. It has a sectional, clearly we'll have to furnish it ourselves but that's fine. I'm not even listening to Lisa at this point I'm just taking everything in. "The lights in here dim so this would also be good for movie nights and Ash, I know you said you get migraines so dimming lights were important," Lisa says. "Yeah, but if the house didn't come with them I'd find someone to put them in," My love says. "Of course." We move on to the kitchen. It has an island with a stove and multiple ovens. A nice deep sink and dishwasher. It has a large fridge too. This is looking to be the house. I feel like my luck has completely changed. This could be it.
We walk to the half bathroom and that seems to be a decent size. We go upstairs where the important parts are. The bedrooms. There's 4 bedrooms. The first 3 are kind of uniform, could fit a small desk, decent closet, queen sized bed. There was a bathroom in the hallway with a tub shower combo and obviously a toilet and sink. And then the bedroom, this might make it or break it, but Ash did say we could add on too so I still think even if the bedroom isn't everything we want we could add on. We walked in and I could cry. There's an Alaskan king bed in the middle of the room with a balcony overlooking the beach. The walk in closet we wanted, enough room we could throw a party in there if we wanted, we won't but it paints the picture. Then Lisa walks us to the bathroom and Ash wraps their arms around me from behind and kisses my cheek. It has the jacuzzi tub, it has the big glass shower but not only does it have the glass shower it has the rainfall/waterfall shower settings. It has his and hers sinks. This house has everything.
"I'll meet you guys in the kitchen once you've had time to talk things over with each other," Lisa says. "Thank you," Ash says. They grab my hand and spin me so I'm facing her and kisses me. They pull me to the balcony. "How much do you love it?" Ash asks. "1000%. It doesn't need any renovations. Just furniture and decorations and paint. That's it. Baby how soon can we put in an offer?" I ask. "Vita mia, it's a brand new house, first come first serve, today's the first day it goes on sale. I'll put in an offer out right now. You just need to say yes," They say. "Yes yes yes!!! Please?" I ask. "Baby, it's a house, not a bedroom, people are going to think we're doing stuff." "Maybe once the house is ours," I say kissing her. We go down stairs and put the money down and fill out the paperwork. We should know soon enough. Within the month. And if the house is definitely ours, it's paid for in full so we just have to turn everything on when we can take our next week's vacation. Get U-Hauls and see if we can recruit help. We get lunch and spend the rest of the day trying not to get our hopes up but talking about the house.
