Hashira's happiness

Setting up the school council

I was called to the masters office and I don't know why. He probably wants an update on what has happened. I knocked on the door. "Come in." I hear him say in his usual calm voice. I open the door and walk inside.

"Good morning master." I say as politely as I can. "Good morning child. How is your progress?" I look at his warm eyes. The disease he has 100 years ago isn't there. Master is quite beautiful. "Sanemi and Mitsuri have regained their memories." He nods at me. "Good work Shinobu." I smile at him.

"I have decided that I'll leave it up to you to organise a school council with the Hashira." The master says. I look at him confused. "Me? Organise a school council? I think that's a bit complex." I say. He smiles at me warmly. "100 years ago you was in charge of the butterfly mansion and the demon slayers clinical sector. I believe that is harder than the school council." I sigh under my breath and agree to organise the school council.

I leave the office and see Muichiro in the distance. He seems dazed as he doesn't realised he dropped a piece of paper. I pick it up. I didn't mean to but I may of accidentally read it. It had writing on it. It said things like "ugly" "idiot" and much ruder things. Is Mui getting bullied?

"Muichiro!" I call. He turns and looks at me confused. I hand him the paper. "You dropped this." He stares at me. "How do you know my name?" He asks. I stand there in silence for a minute. "Oh Aoi mentioned you once. " I say. Muichiro is 2 years younger than Aoi but one time Aoi was getting bullied and he stood up for her. Although, I do think Aoi is scary so she should've been able to do it herself.

"Oh the girl who looks a tiny  bit scary..." Muichiro mutters. I guess everyone has the same impression of her. "You're friends with Nezuko too right? Kanao and Aoi are also friends with her." 

Muichiro just continues to stare at me. I sigh as I forget that Muichiro doesn't know how to choose his words so he stays silent. "Oh I didn't introduce myself." Before  I introduced my self, Mui interrupted and said, "Shinobu Kocho. Older sister of Aoi." I chuckle lightly and say, "I guess if you have a lot of sisters you're well known."

"You also help out in the medical room." He says. I remember 100 years ago and how I used to help him with his memory loss. 

"Oh before I forget. Can I ask what the piece of paper was?" I ask. "It's nothing..." He replies. I say, "I know what it said. Is someone bothering you?" Muichiro looks at the floor a little sad. "It's none of your concern..." He says. 

"Actually, it is. I'm apart of the school council so it's my job to help." I say proudly. "We have a school council?" He asks. I nod and say, "from today we do. The headmaster asked me to set it up." 

Muichiro thinks for a minuite before telling me. A boy called Kaito was bullying him because of his unnatural hair colour. Most of the Hashira have odd hair, I don't know why. Rengoku said it is something to do with his ancestors eating too much or something and Mitsuri's is because she eats an unusual amount of Sakura mochi every day. The rest of us Hashira are born with it.

I ask, "doesn't your twin brother also have blue highlights? Does he get bullied?" Muichiro shook his head and said, "People are scared of Yuichiro because he's mean." 

Muichiro looked upset as he remembers his bully. I put my hand on his head. "I'll help you." He looks up at me in awe. "Are you going to beat them up for me?" He asks. I giggle at his comment and say, "sadly I can't do that, but I'll think of something else."

I then say, "Muichiro, why don't you join the school council? You can be the first member who joins me." Muichiro takes a minute to think and then agrees, "will it be fun?" I smile at his innocence. Muichiro is a good kid. "Of course! Everyday will be a laugh."

Afterwards, I walk Muichiro to his class and then head to mine. I was a little late but it's fine because the master is on my side. I see Tamayo and she looks at me disappointingly. "What's wrong?" I ask her as I sit next to her. "You seem busier than usual." She says. I apologise and tell her about the school council and Muichiro.

I then asked her if she wants to join the school council too. Tamayo wasn't a Hashira 100 years ago but she helped a lot in the final battle and thanks to her we won. She agrees to join and I squeeze her hand in happiness.

"Hey Shinobu-chan and Tamayo!" Mitsuri says cheerfully as she sits with us at lunch. "Perfect timing." I say to her. She looks at me confused. "The headmaster wants me to make a school council. Tamayo and Muichiro already joined and I want you to join too." I was hoping Mitsuri could take the hint about the plan and to my surprise she understood. "I'll get Iguro to join!" She said happily. I nod at her. 

After eating, I went to Tomioka. "Why are you here Kocho?" He says sounding a little annoyed. Tomioka likes me as much as he liked me 100 years ago, so basically he hates me. I can't blame him, all that teasing and annoying I do must get on his nerves. 

"Do me a favour." I say. He asks what it is. "Join the school council." I tell him. It wasn't a question, more like a demand. "So you can torment me more?" I nod. He lets out a small smile. "Fine." He says. "There will be other people there so get along with them too." I say. He sighs and asks who. "Muichiro, Tamayo, Misturi and Iguro. I think the teachers who will supervise us and be involved are Rengoku-sensei, Sanemi, Giyomei-sensei and Uzui." 

Tomioka looks at me annoyed. "Sanemi hates me..." He mumbles. "He hates me too.. Actually we have a love hate relationship! Anyways, I didn't pick the teachers, the headmaster did. If I chose them then no way in hell would Uzui be apart of it."

You see, after the incident 100 years ago between Uzui and Aoi and Naho, I've developed a hatred for Uzui that will last forever. So out of all the Hashira, he's my least favourite. 

"Also, Tomioka-san. This is a chance to make friends and socialise so please try your best." He ignores me which makes me annoyed so I walk away.

Tomioka and I know each other in this era because we met as children. There was a dog and I hate dogs and it was surrounding me. Tomioka-san is an unlikable person so the dog disliked him and at last we were in the same situation.

To end a long story short, I used him as bait and he got bitten on the butt by the dog. I obviously apologised to him and baked him cookies as an apology (Nee-san forced me). Anyways, I began to tease him from that day on since it was natural and that was what I did 100 years ago.
