*Rose's POV*

I roll over from my bed and it's two thirty in the morning. My pager is going off on my nightstand incessantly. It's Luke, again. My sigh of frustration is so loud that I'm worried I woke Penny in the room next door.

"Can I help you?" I snarl through the phone after dialing his number.

"Yes actually. I need that lovely ass of yours over here now." I roll my eyes even though Luke can't see me on the other end of the phone.

"No, I'm sleeping. Go to bed Luke." He chuckles lowly on the other end of the phone.

"Fine Rose, I will see you tomorrow bright and early." I press the red button to hang up the call and place my phone back onto the wireless charger before lying my head down onto my pillow and closing my eyes. Just as I am about to fall asleep again, my phone starts to ring. I groan in annoyance a pick the phone up while I still have my eyes closed.

"I already told you to fucking go to bed."

"Well good evening to you too Rose." I abruptly sit up on my bed. Harry.

"Oh um hello Harry. Why are you calling this late?" That's really the best thing that you could come up with to say back to him Rose? I lightly hit my forehead with the palm of my hand that isn't holding my cell phone.

"Can I send a car to collect you?" My face contorts in confusion, collect me? Am I a bag of groceries or something?

"Sure." I hesitantly agree to his very late request after months of no contact.

"Great, Dominic will be by to get you shortly. I'm looking forward to seeing you." I hang up the phone and rub the sleep crusts off of my eyes before getting up to look somewhat presentable. I have no idea why I'm even putting any effort into seeing him, it's been at least four months since the last hospital incident in the emergency room.

I quietly try to get out of bed and into some grey sweatpants without falling over. It proves successful so I put on a sports bra covered by my college sweatshirt and head out to the bathroom to splash some cold water on my face. My phone buzzes with a text from the driver Dominic so I spritz a few pumps of my floral perfume on and head outside into the now chilly winter air.

"Miss Collins." Dominic opens the back door for me and closes it once I get in. Soft music plays in the background during the short drive but I scroll on my phone looking through Instagram. Niall and Penny's lives look so interesting lately and I sigh; I've been such a downer these past few months. I literally have not been out to clubs or bars with my friends since that night. Eventually we arrive at the apartment building, Dominic leads me up to Harry's flat and he opens the door within seconds. I stand there breathless.

Harry stands on the opposite side of his apartment door wearing a pair of black and white plaid pajama pants that are hanging dangerously low on his hips and is shirtless, exposing a few lower abdominal tattoos that appear to be leaves of some sort. Why after all this time must he look so good? He must have gotten those leave tattoos since the last time I saw him in the hospital ER.

"Dominic you can go." His eyes never leave mine as he demands Dominic to leave us to be alone. I walk into the apartment silently and stand there looking out at the cityscape at three in the morning, everything looks so peaceful. Harry's reflection appears behind me on the crystal clear glass, I wonder how long he's been standing there.

"Rose, would you like a hot tea?" I turn around like I'm stuck in a trance. My teeth chew on the inside of my cheek and I nod my head. His bare feet pad into the kitchen area while I stay gazing out the window. I have no idea what is wrong with me, maybe I'm just tired. But why would he call me in the middle of the night after four months?
