*Rose's POV*

Once I get inside I open the bag that Harry told me to take with me right away. My jaw immediately drops to the ground. A brand new laptop, it's a version of a MacBook, of course the most expensive on the market. When lifting off the cover of the Apple box, I notice a small note is left right on top.

Dearest Rose,

I couldn't bear to think of you not having a laptop, especially when you said it made you unhappy. I hope my little gift makes you smile today and everyday when you look at it. Good luck on your upcoming school work. I will see you soon darling.

- H xx.

My heart swells at the caring note he left me but it seems a little extreme that he would buy me a new laptop computer after only knowing me for one day.

Rose
This wasn't necessary Harry, I'll have to repay you.

Within only a few seconds he replies.

Harry
Never, you're worth all the money in the world.

I feel like I'm floating on could nine but the sudden thoughts of his wife or girlfriend or even both creep into my head. I just wish I knew if he was emotionally and physically available.

Rose
Go to work Harold.

Harry
I'd rather be with you.

I lock my phone and decide to turn it off for the remainder of the day. The different thoughts of him with another woman make my skin crawl after the swift kiss we shared at the end of our lunch outing today. I catch up on some assignments that I have for my clerkship rotations at university before shutting down the new laptop and taking a much needed nap.

"Wake up, we're going out for Niall's birthday." Penny's small hands roughly shake me awake from my deep sleep, she's all dressed fancy. I would rather be asleep because then he would not be on my mind.

"Where are we going?" I groan and roll over covering my head with a spare pillow beside me.

"Hibachi and then the club, where else?" Huffing in annoyance I slowly make my way out of my bed. Of course we're getting food, Niall loves to eat, especially Japanese.

"I'm showering, I'll be ready in an hour." Penny is clearly pissed at me for the hour delay but oh well; she doesn't have much of a choice. My lousy apartment shower is nothing in comparison to Harry's extravagant one. One shower head that doesn't even function properly most days, sometimes the streams go in crazy directions and I'm lucky if I have any hot water. Maybe one day when I'm a successful surgeon, I can own a custom shower like his. The rest of getting ready for our night out is rushed from Penny screaming. Apparently I didn't answer her text messages and that we were going to be late for our reservations at the hibachi restaurant. It had escaped my mind that I needed to turn my phone back on after my nap, that might actually be my fault. A few more texts from Harry came through from the late afternoon to apologize for being too forward at lunch.

In all honesty, I don't mind his flirting at all. I think this age gap between us is exciting for him; that he sees me as some conquest or game. I also don't want to be known as a home-wrecker, especially with someone so famous that their life is basically public knowledge, so I'd rather not be too receptive of his advances until I figure out his relationship status.

"Ready to go?" Penny yells out to me but I'm already rounding the corner.

"Fuck you always look the best out of all of us Rosie. I'm so jealous." I laugh at her comments and kiss her on the cheek.
