*Rose's POV*

Paris? I glance around but nothing is really giving the classic vibes that I was expecting during my first few steps in a new foreign city.

Despite that, a large smile still spreads across my face. For a moment everything seems so perfect and I want to kiss him for the first time. A cold gust of wind takes me out of my trance and I take a step back.

"This is amazing Harry. I don't know how to thank you." He smiles and extends his hand for me to take.

"Just you being here is thanks enough." I take his hand and walk with him back to the sedan. Harry opens the door for me and helps me into the low car before closing the door once I'm inside.

When he gets in the car he turns on the heated seats to warm us up from the cool winter air. Classical music plays quietly in the background as usual and his hand comes over the center console to rest on my thigh that covered by the knit body suit.

"I see you found the clothes that I bought you. You look simply stunning Rose." His words and the warmth from his hand on my thigh spreads a feeling through me that I remember all too well. I missed this side of Harry; it seems like years have passed since we were flirtatious although it's only been six months.

"Thank you Harry. I can't keep everything though, it's way too expensive." He chuckles and shakes his head as he starts to leave the airport.

"You're keeping them all, they are my gifts to you." I sigh knowing that I can't win this argument. If he wants to spoil me, he's going to no matter what I say.

"I'm only going to wear them when I'm with you though. That will be our compromise." He laughs again as his thumb moves across the knitted fabric on my leg.

"Fair enough Miss Rose." I place my hand on top of his and I can see him smile from the corner of my eye.

"I have to match your level of status in public you know." A look a fear comes across his face but he hides it quickly with a smile. I suddenly forget that has always been a concern of his, especially with his ex-wife, but as of lately I don't mind the idea as much. Being seen in public with him doesn't make me nervous as it once did.

I think taking things slow as well as the unintentional time apart really helped us in so many ways. Now that we are together my heart just feels so full and happy.

The drive through the city streets makes me as equally happy. These are the views that I was expecting, absolutely breathtaking.

"Would you like to get some lunch before we head out on our first adventure?" I nod but realize he's not looking at me but focusing on the road instead.

"I'd like that very much." Harry parks the car and puts on a hat and sunglasses before wrapping his scarf once around his neck. Without failure, he comes to open for my door and extends a hand to help me out of the car. I graciously accept it but drop his hand once I'm out of the car; I'm not sure how he feels about the physical contact in public quite yet.

"I know this great little spot for risotto, come on." Much to my surprise, Harry grabs my hand back and intertwines our fingers. Our walk is fairly short and my eyes wander all around the city taking in the beautiful design of the buildings.

The lunch was delicious and Harry even picked out a French white wine that complemented our meal perfectly. We start walking back in the city streets. This city reminds me of New York City in some ways.

"Are you ready to see some of the work that I do for Vogue?" I smile and grip his hand much tighter.

"Yes! Oh my God this is so exciting Harry." He smiles at my reaction.
