I slipped on my black fishnets and the black, latex costume. Zipping myself up, I grabbed the white cuffs buttoning them around my wrist, wrapping the bow tie around my neck. I took a look at myself in the mirror. I'm really glad I was able to find my playboy bunny costume, because I didn't want a repeat of last years cheesy costume with Matt which was a nurse outfit. I slipped on the bunny ears and turned around to make sure the white bunny tale was on and headed downstairs.

"Jeremy!" I yelled for him. I heard heavy footsteps come rushing downstairs. He dressed in all black like a Grim Reaper. "You ready?" I asked and he just nodded his head at me.

I was so excited that me and Jeremy got out of the house tonight, we both needed a distraction. As we approached the school I seen a bunch of people were outside partying too. We walked into the school, the hallways were filled with people drinking, dancing and mingling. The main lights to the school were off but there were black lights on the wall to give it a more eerie look. The music wasn't too loud which I liked. As me and Jeremy rounded the corner I saw Matt sipping out of a red solo cup. He turned around and meet my gaze

"Wow your the cutest bunny I've ever seen." Matt eyed me up and down causing me to blush.

"Thanks! I see you went with last year's costume." I giggled as we walked closer to each other.

"Yeah I decided to come last minute." He admitted.

"Hey, I'm going to go get something to drink I'll be back."

"Okay." Jeremy walked away and my attention was back on Matt. "He's upset about not being able to talk to Vicki still."

"Yeah I got into a fight with Vicki." My body stiffen.

"You saw her?" I asked confused. I thought Stefan was keeping her away from everyone?

"Yeah she came back home. I'm trying not to smother her tonight but a part of me didn't want to let her out of my sight."

"She's here?" I asked in fear, hoping he didn't pick up on it.

"Yeah you can't miss her she's a vampire." Matt said laughing. My heart dropped of course she would dress up as herself! Great! Now I need to find Jeremy. I looked around to see if I could see Jeremy through the crowd, but couldn't. Who i did see was Damon and he was walking towards me. He wore a white shirt, his black leather jack and cuffed blue jeans with black boots. He looked like a greaser. He gave me a smirk as he grabbed my hand, trying to pull me away from Matt without a word, but stupidly Matt stepped in front of him. This isn't going to end well.

"I'm Matt and you are?" He asked holding his hand out. Now is not the time Matt!

"Mutt there's a reason we haven't meet." Damon smirked ignoring his hand then looked down at me. "Let's go bunny." Damon's blue eyes sparked under the back light and I was lost in them. He tried to walk us away but Matt insists we stayed.
