"You're obsessed with each other," Angela noted as she watched Lucy beam at her phone at the breakfast table. Her friend could only be texting one person based on the look on her face.

"I'm not obsessed with Tim," Lucy lied. It was easy to get obsessed with his good morning texts and seeing him every chance they could manage between her classes and his work shifts.

"We're both happy to see you so happy," Wes didn't know Lucy could look even more incandescent, but within the last two months since starting to date Tim, she was never without a smile on her face.

"I guess I've just never felt this way before," she reflected.

"Aww," Wes swooned.

She heard a knock, and Lucy shot up from her seat to answer the door as quickly as possible.

"Morning," Tim grinned.

She pulled him by the arm into her condo and rose up to kiss him. It was supposed to be a quick, little brush of their lips, but Tim opened his mouth under hers, and she didn't object to something more intense. "Morning," she eventually murmured against his lips.

It took a few seconds before he could look away from Lucy and notice Angela and Wes were in the room, too. "Hey, guys," Tim said bashfully.

"Oh, don't stop on our account. If she's too busy eating your face, then there's more bacon for me," Angela took a big bite out of the strip on Lucy's plate and offered the rest to Wes.

"Enjoy the rest of breakfast, I should get to class anyways," Lucy chuckled.

Tim reached for Lucy's purse on the floor and wore it on his shoulder.

"I can carry my own bag," she smirked.

"I know," he agreed and outstretched his hand for her to take. He did not mind holding onto her bag as long as she held onto his hand.

Lucy interlaced their fingers happily, looked over to her friends, and waved them goodbye before leaving with Tim.

"I'm off shift today."

"What are your plans for the day aside from waiting around for me?" She asked and rested her other hand on his bicep to walk closer to him.

He rolled his eyes at her fondly. "I have a life, you know. I'll be at the gym."

Lucy's phone chimed, and she checked to see an email from her professor, stopping her feet from moving.

"Is something wrong?"

"My professor...she just canceled class."

"Really?"

"Looks like I don't have anything to do today."

He bit his lip in thought then tugged on their joined hands to guide them in a different direction.

"Where are we going?"

"On a date."

She looked back at Talia and Aaron silently following and groaned, "I really wish we could ditch my security."

"They're here for your protection."

"But I'd like for us to be alone...why don't you take me back to my place?" She asked suggestively. He had yet to spend the night or make any sort of sexual advances like a true gentleman, and maybe it was time for him to curb the chivalry.

"I think you'll like this better."

She looked back at the way he was filling out his jeans and replied, "I wouldn't be so sure."

Tim lead them to his truck with a growing smile, because he was excited about his new plan. He buckled his seatbelt and was interrupted from starting the car when Lucy leaned over to drop a kiss on his cheek.
