when we got to math class, the girls were still talking about Stella's reaction but i didnt really care and sat with my brother.

"hi Wille" i said and took a pen out of my pocket.

my twin didnt say anything, infact he didnt even look at me. his eyes were on the guy August invited to the party yesterday.

i touched his shoulder gently and said his name. thats when he turned to me.

"hm?" Wille mumbled.

"i said hi" i smiled at him weakly while he just looked at me.

"oh. hi" Wille said quietly and his eyes locked with the boy again.

"everything okay?" i asked, cause this behaviour was very unusual, especially with Wille.

"yeah" he said and the whole class stood up to greet our math teacher.

after all my classes, i decided to take a shower before i go study with Felice and the girls.

i changed into more comfortable clothes, took my notebooks and left to the library.

while going to the girls table i passed by Wille who was sitting with the same boy he had the intense eye contact with earlier.

"hey Wille" i said and touched his shoulder.

"hey Ivy" Wille smiled at me and i sat down on the table next to his, with the girls.

"hi Ivy" Felice said and some of the girls smiled at me. "this is Sara" Felice pointed at the girl i saw at the party the other day.

"hi Sara" i smiled at her and took my phone out of my pocket to use the calculator.

"Princess Ivy" Sara said without any facial expression.

"oh call me Ivy, not princess" i said gently so she doesnt have to worry.

"right" she mumbled.

not so long after that, August sat at Wille's table.

"this is really the best thing about rowig" August said and pointed at Wille and the boy "it brings people together, its really.. wonderful, isnt it?"

girls at our table started exchanging suspicious looks with each other, while we all listened to their conversation.

"you know, class, ethnicity, it doesnt matter" August continued while Wille stayed quiet. "everybody has the same chances"

after August said that, the boy that sat with Wille started packing his things. he stood up and said "im leaving"

Wille looked at him "okay but, um maybe we'll see you at practice tonight"

"i cant make it tonight" the boy said and walked to the door.

"you cant just skip practice if you want to make the rowing team" August said and brushed his hand thru his hair. "youre letting your teammates down"

"i know, but i cant tonight so" he told August and Sara stood up "i cant really focus here" she said and walked over to her brother.

"uh wait you have to come to the horror movie night on Friday" Felice said "at the manor house"

the siblings didnt say anything, so Felice invited both of them with a bright smile.

after they left, Vincent walked over to our table and gave me some gum.

"thanks, Vee" i smiled

"you got it, princess" Vincent winked at me and walked back to the boys.

i could tell the girls were confused that im getting along with the second years so much, but most of them are nice. especially Vincent and August.

"i think thats nice" August turned to Felice. "taking care of school freaks like that"

"fuck you, August" Maddie said and i chuckled a bit without taking my eyes off the schoolwork.

August ignored Maddie and looked at Felice again "just make sure it doesnt rub off"

"Sara is no freak. sure she has her diagnoses and that, but she's the only authentic person around." Felice said with ease. she really got Sara's back.

"what kind of diagnoses?" August asked and thats when i looked at him.

Felice started drawing random hearts on her paper, so she didnt look at August but she did reply "like Asperger's and um, some kind of ADHD"

August just nodded and then Nils threw candy on our table.

"very funny" i fake smiled at Nils and Maddie threw the candy back at him.

August and Wille helped me with math that evening. math is my weakness so im glad i understand at least some of it now.

when i got to my room, i got a call from Erik.

"hi Erik" i smiled on the facetime.

"Ivy" he said and waved at me. "everything alright?"

"yeah. its actually not as bad as i thought here" i said, just walking around my room with the phone in my hand.

"right. August hasnt been annoying you?" Erik laughed abit "i spoke to Wille this morning. he absolutely hates him"

"sounds like Wille" we both laughed and i walked over to my window. "but no. August is actually quite nice"

"im glad to hear that" after Erik said that, i saw Wille leaving Hillerska out of my window.

"wait Erik i will call you back in a minute" i said and hung up before he could say anything.

i took a hoodie and put my shoes on and hurried outside.

"Wille!" i shouted when i saw him.

"what the fuck, Ivy?" he rushed over to me and covered my mouth "keep your mouth shut".

"where are you going?" i said after i got out of his grip.

"out" he said harshly.

"out where?" i smirked at him "with a girl?"

Wille didnt say anything for few seconds "um actually. im going out with Simon"

"Simon?" i looked at Wille and tilted my head a bit. "Sara's brother, right?"

"yeah. but you cant tell anyone" Wille said seriously.

all i did was smirk at him in that moment. "i didnt know you.." "you know"

"shut up, Ivy" Wille scoffed and turned around to leave.

"no, Wille i was joking." i stood infront of him "im sorry"

"its good, twin" Wille smiled and i hugged him.

August insisted on walking me to class the next day. he even woke up early just to make me my usual coffee in the morning.

"ready for the movie night?" August asked while we walked to my first class together.

"yes. more than ready" i said with excitement.

before August said anything back, Anette tapped on August's shoulder "can i have a word with you?"

"of course, headmaster" August smiled at her and both Anette and August looked at me.

"oh ill just wait here" i smiled and they took few steps away from me to talk.

while waiting on August, i took my phone out and scrolled thru insta.
i liked some of Felice's new pics and when August returned i put my phone back in my pocket.

"everything alright?" i smiled at him.

August didnt say anything, he just continued walking me to class.

"August?" i grabbed his shoulder gently and he finally turned to me "is everything okay?"

he sighed and faked smiled at me "yeah. of course"
