- Doing everything himself (Angst)
Genyas relationship with his brother wasn't the best, everyone knew that. Genya tried to unbelievably hard to impress him and try to make the Hashira see how he changed, but nothing ever worked.
Y/n had a little bit of hatred stored everytime Genya came to him with his eyes red and puffy, no doubt having just been talking to his older brother. Y/n was respectful, he never got involved, but god did he wish Genya didn't do it all on his own.
"You don't understand!"
Genya yelled at Y/n. This had been the last straw, the last time that Y/n was going to sit by and watch as his boyfriend ruined himself just for his brothers approval.
"The only thing I'm understanding is that your going on a murder mission!"
Y/n had a few tears leak down his face, making Genya get more angry. He never wanted to hurt Y/n like that, but he needed to do this. Y/n didn't understand, and he didn't want to understand, not if it was giving Genya that much pain.
"I need to do this. Get out of my way."
Genya glared at him, almost considering in his mind if he could get away with shoving him out of the way. The sudden memory of his father came into play, making him rethink it instantly.
"No. Genya, I'm not going to let you leave just to go kill yourself."
Y/n stuck his arms out, covering the door behind him. He wanted to threaten him, he wanted to shove him down and force him to stay until the end of time—he wouldn't, but he wanted to. Genya huffed and held his head, feeling a headache coming into play.
"I have to—"
"No you don't! You really think killing yourself is going to make you a Hashira?!"
That struck a nerve. Genya quickly looked up at Y/n with wide eyes. Y/n understood what he said was wrong and out of line, but he meant it. Genya seemed to have no thoughts as he grabbed Y/ns arm and shoved them out of the way.
Y/n hissed and watched the tall slayer go out the door.
"Genya!"
Y/n attempted to call out to him, paying that he would come back, but he didn't turn around. Y/n frowned and watched Genya walk away, his anger making their surroundings fell heavy.
"I'll wait for you!"
Y/n yelled.
"You idiot! Im always here for you!"
