- Warm (Fluff)

The night grew cold, making Tanjiro shiver slightly. This had to be the first time in a while he was bothered by the cold. Growing up in the mountains made his body almost immune to the chills and cold, but now he felt is body start to shake.

He looked beside him to the other futon on the floor, it was occupied by his teammate for this mission, L/n. Although it was strange that they had anytime to sleep, it was even stranger that L/n was sleeping so peacefully with his blanket shrugged off.

Tanjiro smiled at a little, remembering how his siblings would do the same. His thoughts were interrupted by another wave of cold hitting him, he shivered a little harder this time making him realize he really needed to get warm.

"Y/n?"

The other slayer hummed in his sleep, not fully waking up. Tanjiro sighed and scooted over a little bit, already feeling the warmth coming off of Y/n. It wasn't that strange considering he was a user of flame breathing, his body was made for it seeing how warm it already was.

"Wake up, Y/n...!"

Tanjiro tried to be louder without yelling, and it seemed to work. Y/n groaned and slowly looked over to Tanjiro.

"Wha-?"

Tanjiro smiled awkwardly, now aware of how strange his request was going to sound.

"Do you mind if we share a blanket?

It took a second for Y/n to fully understand what the red head was asking. He then yawned and nodded, scooting over and patting the spot beside him. Tanjiro have a confused look for a moment.

"It'll be warmer if you just lay over here."

Tanjiro blushed slightly and nodded, quickly getting out of his futon and going over to Y/ns futon. Since the two of them were small, they both fit under the blankets and perfectly on the mattress below them.

Tanjiro stared at the ceiling and tried to slow his breathing. Y/n really was warm, and the heat climbing up the sun breathers cheeks made it all the more intense. Y/n hummed and closed his eyes.

"Goodnight."

"G-Goodnight."
