Forced Over The Ledge.

Here you come there you go
Shades of sunshine turn to snow
Look at the past
And how long it lasts
Every day is an enormous task
Stepping around shattered glass
All this pain will never pass
Standing on the ledge
Looking over the edge
I remember saying the pledge
For the land of the free
But my hands are tied
Free does not apply to me.
Below i hear the children scream
as I stand on this small beam.
"Don't jump!" some man pleas
But they don't have the key.
Little do they know
I don't want to go
That it's just a game
And in one minute
The other side will win
And I'll be dead.
Splattered on the pavement.
And here you come.
And there you go.
As my sunshine
Leaves to snow
