If given the chance to make a wish
This is a chance I would not miss
I'd wish for a good group of friends, that cared about me.
I'd wish for a big happy family, with only smiles to see.
I'd wish that at least one boy liked me for simply being myself.
I'd wish that I could read endlessly and afford books for every shelf.
I'd wish that my career dream could be a more realistic reality.
I'd wish that I was more outgoing with a likable personality.
There are countless more but I'll stop here.
Because you see wishes are like talking to a mirror.
They will not come true with just words.
You can't leave them flying aimlessly along side birds.
For wishes require action, not just request.
You have to try your hardest and be your very best.
If given the chance to make a wish
This is a chance I would not miss
Because we're given the chance everyday.
Just put effort into the dreamy words you say.
