Chapter 43

The team was so tense because of him. We are on the site today and we travelled for at least 15 minutes to get in here.

Sa kanya rin ako sumakay dahil wala naman akong choice. 

His seriousness today is on the next level. Kung kahapon ay sumasabay pa siya, ngayon ay para ulit siyang may malaking galit sa mundo.

Pati kaninang umaga noong nag breakfast kami ganito na siya. I find it unfair that the team cannot talk or eat properly because of his mood.

Galit pa rin ba siya sa nangyari kahapon? 

At hindi ako mapakali dahil dito. I felt like I am at fault kahit wala naman akong kasalanan. 

His eyes were sharp whenever he looks at me, kaya alam kung may kasalanan akong hindi ko namamalayan. Magmula pa iyon kaninang umaga ng makita ko siya sa may sala.

"The system of the power plant last changed for almost 15 years now. And the new system will be built starting these next few months…"

I looked at my team as they all looked at him seriously, sigurado akong ramdam rin nila ang pagbabago niya kung ikukumpara kahapon nang nag lunch kami.  

We were on full gear as we inspect the facilities, pagkatapos ay napunta naman kami sa testing site.

May mga nadatnan kaming taong kasalukuyan ring nagtratrabaho. Sa gitna ay nadoon nga ang blue print ng bagong system

"Sir, we've been studying the system too that was forwarded for us, and I think we could definitely do it for next few months." The on site engineer commented. 

Lumapit kami ng tuluyan sa gitna. "Pero kailan po masisimulan sa Metro?" 

"We are planning to as well Sir as early as possible. Before the rainy season." Eng. Alfredo responded. 

"Seasons are a key factor as well, so changes might be considered in the future." Then he looked at us seriously. "We will just inspect for today and for tomorrow, we could start studying the blueprint."

"Yes, Sir." 

We continued inspecting the whole area hanggang sa mag luch na kami. And the atmosphere was the complete opposite of what we had yesterday. 

Sir Romeo couldn't even start a joke and the whole lunch was just so awkward. Maging si Mrs. Ramirez ay hindi rin maka buwelo na makapagsimula ng usapan.

On the afternoon, we did the same hanggang sa mag uwian na kami. Nagpalit muna kami ng damit at nang pumunta na ako ng parking ay nakasandal na siya sa may kotse niya. 

Muli akong napalunok ng malalim habang pinagmamasdan siya. He looks so good with his maong pants and black polo shirt. Nang magtagpo naman ang mga mata namin ay para ulit akong mawawalan ng hininga. 

He looked at me deeply and intently kahit galit pa rin ang ang kanyang mga mata. He then opened the door for me.

Walang salitang sumakay ako sa loob habang kalong ko ang shoulder bag ko. I looked at my watch and it was near 5Pm. Pwede pa akong matulog bago kumain ng dinner.

He got in and he quickly manoeuvred the car. Nakarating kami ng villa pagkatapos lamang ng mahigit kinse minutos. 

I watched his back again as he enter the passcode. He walked in first habang sumunod lang ulit ako sa kanya.

Even from looking at his back, I do not why but I could still feel how angry he was with something. Tila iniipon lang niya sa loob niya iyon pero nagpapakita naman ito sa galaw at tingin niya. 

He then locked the door again for me pagkapasok ko, gumilid ako para maisara niya iyon ng maayos. 

Huminga ako ng malalim. "What is your problem?"
