Prolouge Chapter 2: Corrupting Reality

Ah yes. The MEGA Update. The start of a new era for TDS. Now let's see what was added.. Hunter, Fallen King, Skincrates.. and Medic. Back in the day, EVERYONE wanted Medic. I mean, a tower that healed base health AND cleansed stuns!!? Who wouldn't want to buy it!

Anyways, our story starts with a player called... popcorn. popcorn was a Level 34 when he first unlocked Medic. His loadout consisted of Medic, Enforcer, Military Base, Minigunner, and Farm. Together, they went on a journey to beat every mode on every map. It's always been popcorn's goal. Medic's life was perfect... until popcorn unlocked Turret. He decided to take Medic out of his loadout and put Turret in her place. Medic would never see popcorn complete his journey.

Diverging Reality - Prologue: Chapter 2:
Corrupting Reality

Medic fell into a dark void. It was pitch black. All that could be seen was a white light near her. This was the INVENTORY. From the players' perspectives, the inventory is just UI on a screen. However, it's an entirely different world for the towers. Since the Inventory goes on forever, towers that aren't used in a while tend to drift away from the Spawn Point. That's why its pretty hard to come across towers. Medic wanted to interact with other towers. So she explored the darkness. The minutes passed. More darkness. Suddenly, she heard a faint voice in the distance. She ran towards the voice and came across Demoman, Sniper, and Paintballer.

"..so then I was like "heck no!" and shot 'em in the face.", said Sniper.

"Nice one. Y'all ever wondered what happens after you die?", asked Paintballer.

"You respawn, duh!! You think we die forever or somethin'?", answered Demoman. "Though if you respawn, you lose all-"

"Um... h-hi!! I'm Medic-"

"Where the heck did you come from?", asked Sniper.

"Hey, that's the dude who took my spot in the loadout!", said Demoman.

"Damm. I guess we kill 'em?", asked Paintballer.

"Wait.. what did I do?", asked Medic.

Sniper fired a shot at Medic. It went straight into her arm.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!!", said Sniper.

"But.. what'd I d-"

She quickly dodged a shot fired by Paintballer.

"Man, I wish my projectile traveled faster.."

Medic started running through the Inventory while being chased by Sniper, Paintballer, and Demoman. She didn't notice someone right in fromt of her, and she accidentally bumped into them.

"Oh, hey. I'm Cowboy. You look like you were in a rush, are you okay..?"

"There are 3 guys that are trying to kill me! I think they have me confused for someone else! Wait, you're not with them, are you..?"

"Nah, don't worry. I think I know who you're talking about", answered Cowboy.

Sniper, Paintballer, and Demoman came to a screeching halt once they saw Cowboy.

"Ah crap, what do we do now.. she definitely snitched..", Demoman said to the others. He turned to Cowboy and said, "Oh hey there Cowboy! Didn't see you there! Is there anything you need?"

"So why were y'all chasing this girl around the Inventory?", asked Cowboy.

"Uhhh.. we were.. playing tag! Yup, we were playing tag."
