Chapter 4: Attacking the Void

The Agency's leader, Phantom, decided to host a large event for everyone at the Agency. A grand dinner for all players, towers, and zombies.

"Man! How come we never do something like this??!", said Accelerator. "This food is AMAZING!"

Toxic Gunner looked around. Sledger was nowhere to be seen. He disappeared a month ago.

"I've been wondering, what missions are you guys on?", Phantom asked everyone at the table.

"Me and Error think we got a lead on where Freezer is!", said Necromancer.

"...Nice.", said Phantom. "I heard that Void Reaver's location was found. Anyone going on the mission?"

The room went dead silent. Everyone knew that Void Reaver was extremely powerful. He has the power of nearly 80 souls. He's also joined by Fallen Swordmaster, who is another strong enemy. Everyone thought that the mission was suicide.

"Huh. Didn't know there were still cowards in the Agency.", said Phantom distastefully.

"I'll go", said a voice all the way down the table. It was Vortex, who was one of the strongest Agency members.

"Thank you Vortex.", said Phantom. "Anyone else..?"

"We'll go!", said Wuzz and Sary. They were on the other side of Toxic Gunner. They were also pretty strong players.

"That's 3 players. I want 3 towers on the mission as well", said Phantom

"Uh, guess I'll go.", said Accelerator

"Hey accel, can I go?", Toxic Gunner whispered to Accelerator

"Nah man, ya'll die! Only reason I'm going is because I made a bet with Shredder.", said Accelerator

"Aww come on, Accelerator! Let Toxic Gunner go.", said Phantom. He sent shivers down both of their spines. They had no idea he was right behind them.

"Um, s-sure!!"

The room went silent once again.

"Huh. Well, guess it's up to you guys to find one last tower."

The room resumed enjoying the food. On the way out, Toxic Gunner wondered if he even had the slimmest chance to kill Void Reaver.

"80 souls, and I only have 2! I wonder how many Phanto- Sledger?"

Sledger was sitting on the beach, far away from the rest of the lobby.

"Where have you been?? It's been like, a month since you stopped showing up to missions!!"

Sledger sighed. "I just don't want to kill anyone. It never feels right."

Toxic Gunner scoffed. "So you decided to hide here for a month and turn down power? You're pretty weird dude. Anyways, I have this big mission coming up. We're gonna take down an absolute beast. We got one more spot, I think they'll let you in. You joining?"

"You already know I'm not.", said Sledger. "I'm not going to kill anyone. Now I see why Commander told us to avoid people like you."

Sledger got up and started walking away. It took a few second before Toxic Gunner understood what Sledger meant. He ran up behind him and knocked him to the ground.

"People "like" me?? The hell you mean people like me? Do you think you're above me? At this point, you're not even in the Agency. You're no different than the rebels. I should just kill you.", said Toxic Gunner.

Toxic Gunner started punching Sledger with his fists.

"Are you just gonna to let me beat you to death? Or are you gonna fight back?!"
