Chapter 8 Friends

Reader's POV:

The next day we spent the day. We spent the day scrapbooking because we had really nothing to do and it was a day off. I made a picture of Kaoru and Naruto noticed.

"Aw that's a cute cat whose that?" Naruto asked. Gaara perked up and eyed me

"My and Gaara's old cat whose died long ago because of me.." Insaid and mumbled the end. Naruto blinked.

"What happened to the cat?" Naruto asked.

"He was murdered by my dad.. His name was Kaoru," I said. Naruto and Sakura looked curious. The two noticed the atmosphere change. They didn't question it any further. Sakura got curious.

"Did you all know the cat?" Sakura asked. Gaara and me both went silent. Temari cleared her throat.

"Yeah," she said softly.

"Kaoru got them together," Kankuro started.

"Let's end this topic here please," I said quickly. We moved on and after the atmosphere from Kaoru's mentioning disappeared.

It was a fun day except that moment. And we hung up out scrapbook page and then went to bed after watching a movie.
I slept half of the day next day and the other half watched anime. I felt the couch dip since I was asleep and I grabbed the remote as a weapon. Gaara stared at me. I relaxed a little.

"Its just me," he said softly. I stared at him before hopped in to his lap. He looked at me a little surprised. Kankuro and Temari and Naruto along with Sakura joined us later on and we had a movie night apparently. I kept moving in Gaara's lap. Soon Kankuro and Temari fell asleep and Naruto and Sakura went to the guest rooms to sleep. I shifted again. Gaara groaned softly. Gaara grabbed my wrists.

"Stop moving," Gaara growled out. I then realized what was uncomfortable. I bucked my hips against his and he moaned softly. Gaara sent me a glare. I kissed his cheek.
