Reader's POV:
The rest of the day I slept most of the day with many interruptions from Naruto, Sakura, Kankuro, Temari but mostly Gaara since he said they are all annoying.
I was napping and someone came in. I woke up and saw it was Gaara again looking not too happy. I pat a spot beside me ready to listen to him.
"Why did Sakura and Naruto have to join with us for a mission!" Gaara growled his sand circling around him. I pat his back.
"Gaara you need to stop skipping training today," I warned. He looked at me.
"Its boring anyway," he said. I slapped the back of his head.
"Gaara!" I warned. He growled and then a blush appeared over his cheeks. I blinked.
"I wanna be with you though...." Gaara muttered while blushing. I blinked and leaned closer to him.
"Pardon?" I asked. His sand charged at me and fell back on the bed. I chuckled.
"Still I don't want you missing something important," I said and brushed his hair. Gaara looked at me worriedly.
"I don't want you to be alone for long I feel like you dad might come back," Gaara said with a serious expression. I relaxed a little.
"Gaara can... You bring Kaoru here?" I asked. Gaara was shocked a little then nodded.
"I'll be back," Gaara said and came back in about 10 mins. His arms were shaking. I took the kitty and held him. I hugged Kaoru.
"Thank you Kaoru... For everything," I whispered holding him tightly. Gaara was on the verge of tears he brushed my hair.
"Thank you for getting me and Gaara together.." I whispered a tear escaping my eyes. Gaara's hand froze. Gaara took my arm and pulled me a little. I got up weakly.
"Let's burn him after 2 years," Gaara said. I nodded and followed Gaara I wasn't fast my feet were still a little weak. He went to a forest after explaining to the nurse. We both watched the flames. And ashes fall from out little pit. I grabbed onto Gaara's arm covering my eyes.
"Kaoru rest in peace.." Gaara mumbled and put sand over the pit and the fire went off. Gaara carried me in his back on the way back.
After that about 3 days after I was let out under one exception I cant train for another week. Everyone was really happy. There seemed to be another girl in the village and when I looked at her she glared at me. I blinked and stuck out my tongue at her and then she held up the letter 'L' on her forehead with her hands and skipped off. I glared at her.
