Chapter 4

After two weeks of preparations Jessie was leaving to go on the road with Sam tomorrow. She was going with him for two months. She'd just walked through the door from work. Her phone rang.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi baby." Sam said.

"Hi."

"How was work?"

"Good." "I'm tired but I still have to finish packing."

"So many people are looking forward to meeting you."

"Bragging about me huh?"

"Yeah." "We're gonna have fun."

"I know." "I'm gonna make some dinner."

"Ok." "I'll call you later."

"Alright bye."

"Bye."

Winnie came over later that night to help her pack. They went into the bathroom.

"Ok, medications." Winnie said. As Jessie put them in a bag Winnie checked off each one on a piece of paper. "Jessie does Sam know?"

"He knows I'm a virgin."

"You know that's not what I'm talking about."

"I haven't told him."

"Jessie." She said disappointed.

"Winnie I can't." "I don't want him looking at me differently."

"Well what are you gonna do when it gets harder to hide?"

"I don't know." "I don't even know why I'm going."

"Because he makes you happy, I know he does."

"No matter what I'm gonna hurt him, whether I want to or not."

"It'll hurt him even more the longer you wait." "You need to tell him Jessie.
