you kick your feet with excitement at matt's text. though you and matt have been dating for two years, text like this will always make you feel all giggly and smiley. you loved when he took you on random dates.
you were already wearing a cute outfit so there was no need to change. you put on some white converse and pearl earrings to match your white babydoll top. you place the yellow sunglasses matt got you for your birthday on your head to pull away loose hairs and add some color to your outfit.
you hear a knock on the door and jump up and down in excitement. you run to the front door and open it as quickly as you can.
"hey love" matt smiles. he was holding a bouquet of tulips in his hands. your favorite flower.
"here, these are for you ! i remember you telling chris how you got a new vase at the thrift store and needed to get flowers for them. i hope these are okay, i know how much you like tulips so.." matt scratches his head and looks at you.
you give him a downwards smile.
"these are perfect matt. i love them. thank you" you give him a kiss on the lips and take the flowers from him. he follows you inside your apartment while you place the flowers on your kitchen counter.
"let me go grab my wallet and then we can go!" y/n says while matt grabs her wrist. "no need. i'm paying" matt states. "matt..." y/n begins. "no. you work so hard in school. the least i could do is pay for a diner breakfast" matt smiles. you sigh. "thank you" you say softly in defeat.
you knew he was paying to begin with. as a woman, you take advantage of dating a youtuber. but that was just a little secret.
"of course, LETS GO EAT!" he yells and drags you out the door.
