"Y/N THIS IS FUCKING WILD" nick exclaims while rolling around the girls bed. "UR MAKING ME FEEL MORE STRESSED NICK" y/n shouts as she tosses potential outfit choices on the ground.
after being best friends for years, matt finally asked y/n out on a date. y/n has had feelings for matt for a while, but she never asked him out since it felt illegal. when he asked her out, she nearly fainted in front of his face.
"do you know what he's wearing?" y/n ask nick, desperately trying to find a cute outfit. "chris said he's wearing a sweater and some jeans" nick says.
y/n thinks and pulls a green corset top out of her pile of clothes. "YES GOOD" nick says sitting up from the bed.
y/n puts on the green top and some low rise baggy jeans. she applied some light makeup and put on some dainty gold jewelry.
"matt's going to actually piss his pants and die when he sees you"

MATT hey i'm almost at ur house
y/n okay i'll come outside MATT wait isn't nick with you? how is he getting home?
y/n he said he's going to hitchhike ??
MATT of course he did

"Y/N MATTS HERE!" nick yells. y/n jumps around in an effort to calm down. nick and y/n rush down the stairs to her front door
"okay have so much fun, if he's a dick i'll come and punch him okay?" nick says while pulling y/n into a hug. "nick hes one of my best friends... and ur fucking brother! it will be okay" y/n laughs.
"just saying!" nick shrugs.
matt's car honks.
"OKAY GOTTA GO LOVE U NICK" y/n yells swinging her front door open. "LOVE U GIRL" nick yells back.
— y/n enters matt's car. "hey!" y/n smiles while buckling up her seatbelt. "hey" matt smiles.
matt begins to drive. y/n had no idea where they were going and matt refused to tell her.
the two drive to matt's mystery location. matt mockingly rolling his eyes at y/n's awful singing.
"can we not listen to break up songs on our first date" matt smirks.
"AAAAAANNNDD YOUU CALL ME UP AGAINNNN JUST TO BREAK ME LIKE A PROMISEE" y/n yells ignoring matt.
—- "NO WAY" y/n gasp as matt pulls into the parking lot of a fancy italian place. y/n has always wanted to try the food there but it was so expensive.
"matt this is so expensive are you sure?" y/n ask. "it's on me y/n, you deserve a nice meal" matt smiles.
the two walk into the restaurant and sit at a little table near a window.
matt's features were well accentuated by the dim lighting in the restaurant.
"you look so pretty y/n. that color actually looks really nice on you" matt smiles. "really? thank you matt" y/n says, frowning at matt's nice comment.

all night long, the two spoke nonstop. they had never been out alone before. it was always with chris and nick. y/n discovered a lot about matt. she noticed that he is a totally different guy when his brothers aren't around
she saw the softer side of him. it was nice.
it was perfect
"can we get a crème brûlée?" matt ask the waiter. you look at matt with a smile.
when you and matt were both ten years old, you both had a crème brûlée addiction and made the decision to try one at every restaurant until you found the best one.
y/n thought he forgot about that.
"you remember that?" y/n asked matt. "duh, i'm not stopping till we find the best one y/n" matt smirks.
"here's your dessert! enjoy!" the waiter says as he places a beautiful crème brûlée on the white table cloth.
y/n whips out her phone to take a photo.
"you are such a phone eats first girl" matt laughs. "i just want to remember this" y/n shrugs.
"here, try it" matt says, handing y/n a spoon.
y/n scoops some of it on her spoon and try's it.
"holy shit matt. this is the one." y/n says, pushing the dessert to matt for him to try.
he eats him and covers his mouth in shock.
"WE DID IT" y/n high fives matt.
the people in the restaurant all look at the two kids cheering and jumping down over a silly desert.
"matt are you crying"
"shut up" ——— "thank you for everything matt" y/n says, opening his door. he was parked in front of her house, dropping her off after their perfect night.
"of course. i really had fun with you y/n" matt says.
y/n looks at the boy and smiles.
suddenly his lips were on hers.
sharing a soft kiss. y/n smiles as she kisses him.
she's always wanted to do that.
the two pull away. "goodnight y/n" matt says.
"goodnight matt"
