Hyunjae POV

As we were on the way home, I saw a convenience store, so I decided to stop by.

"Let's have ramen first; I bet you're hungry."

I went to the ramen aisle and then grabbed ramen for us.

"If you think ramen is not enough for you, don't be shy and grab anything you want. You must be really hungry." I said while patting his head.

After a few minutes of roaming around, we decided to go to the cashier to pay.

"Are you sure you don't want anything? Is ramen enough for you"

"Yes, this is a lot. Thank you so much."

"I think you forgot something. Wait for me."

I run as fast as I can and look for the ice cream aisle. I grabbed two pints of ice cream, hoping that it would be enough for us.

"Here!"

"Ice cream?"

"Yes, I know you're still not okay after what happened. You must be scared. I think ice cream can somehow make you feel good."

"T-thank you so much"

"Anything for you"

As we were done paying, we looked for a place to eat. We decided to eat near the window, so this night could somehow be perfect.

"Do you want to talk about what happened earlier? But it's okay if you don't want to."

" N-no, it's fine"

"Do you really know who's the guy earlier?"

"H-he's my ex boyfriend."

"What?! He must have his motives. You really have no choice but to live with me. Who knows if he will comeback or not. Once everyone is settled, I'm sending you home."

"Also, don't worry about your things. I'll ask my friend tomorrow to get it. It's dangerous if we are the ones who are going to get it. That guy might know our whereabouts."

" Thank you, you shouldn't be doing this"

"Ey, who will help you? You only have me. We're friends, so I shall help you."

"You're a good friend. I didn't know having a friend would be this good. Btw, aren't you going to eat your ice cream? It's been melting. I thought you like ice cream too?"

"Y-you can have it. I'm full" I lied.

"I can have it?"

"Yes, as long as you can still eat it. Aren't you full?"

"I am but there's always room for desserts."

"Aish, you must really love ice cream"

"I do!"

"Perfumes or Ice cream"

"That's unfair, I love both."

"HAHA fine, Eat it before it melts at all."

"Thank you Hyunjae for helping me. This night might be scary but it's not that bad at all. I promise to pay you back."

"No need"

"Be my lover as payment" I mumbled.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing"
