CHAPTER 10

Chanhee POV

I went to the cafe, and someone who is tall with black hair waved at me. It must be him. I go to sit with him.

"Chanhee? Right?"

"Then you must be Juyeon?"

"Yes, I'm the one and only Juyeon" he said while winking

Seeing his actions made me laugh.

"You become prettier when you smile. You must always wear that."

"T-thank you"

"Anyway, what do you like to eat?"

"Anything would do"

Few minutes have passed, and our order is already here. I can't believe that I'm about to experience my first date. I hope this will work. Actually, I'm a date-to-marry person. I hope he's the one. I want to know him more.

Everything is settled at the table. All of these are my favorites. I blushed at the fact that he coincidentally knew my favorite foods. I was about to take my first bite when suddenly Juyeon's phone rang.

"Eat first, I'll take this call"

"Okay"

I started eating, but I made sure that I ate slowly because I wanted to eat with him. It's kind of rude for me if I finish this food without him.

While enjoying my food, a smile could be seen on my face when I saw Juyeon going back to our table.

"Let's eat no-"

"I'm sorry, Chanhee; something happened at work. I really need to go. I'm very sorry."

"Okay, I think you should go now. I know it's important. Don't mind me."

"Thank you!"

With that, he left me all alone. I understand his reason. It's valid. It's just unfortunate that my first date didn't go well as planned. I quickly call the waiter so he can pack these foods. These are a lot.

"Excuse me, sir, but can you wrap these foods?"

"Sure"

"I also have another favor"

"No worries, you can tell me what it is"

"Can you please give these foods to the less fortunate kids instead of me?"

"No problem"

"Thank you very much. I'll get going now."

"Thank you and come again"

Are things between me and Juyeon going to work out?

I shrug off every sad thought I'm having. I'm just going home and taking a nap. I hope that when I wake up, everything will be fine.
