The continuation of "Saviour"

Nabin's friendship with Jinha came to end when the latter didn't want to see that what she did was wrong. Nabi didn't really care as much as she thought she would be. She was fortunate enough to spend time with her cousin Minho and his friends.

Until they wanted to go to a nightclub and party. Nabi was nervous, but agreed to go with as Changbin promised to look after her. While the others were having fun on the dance floor, Changbin stayed with Nabi, away from there.

The loud music was blasting in their ears, making it impossible to have a normal conversation. Whenever someone got closer, Changbin grabbed Nabi's waist to bring her closer and keep her safe from strangers pushing her.

"We should leave. I can handle Minho's yelling if he finds out I took you away from her to my place."

Nabi agreed. The scent of sweaty bodies made her feel sick. She was in need of some fresh air. So, with Changbin holding onto her hand, they left the club and took a cab to Changbin's apartment. Unaware someone had seen them leave.

At his apartment, Changbin brought out a game of Jenga he somehow had lying around. After a few games, with Nabi winning them all as Changbin struggled a lot, they put the game away as almost two hours had gone by.

When Changbin took a look at his phone, he wasn't surprised to see the messages Minho had sent him. The older got annoyed when he found out Changbin left with Nabi and warned the younger guy not to do anything stupid.

"It's getting late. You should stay here. I won't feel comfortable if I let you go home alone at midnight."

Changbin went into his room and came back with something comfortable for Nabi to wear. She went into the bathroom to change out of her dress, into the sweat Changbin had given her. She washed away the makeup on her face as well.

When Nabi joined Changbin again, he was staring at her. He definitely liked seeing Nabi in his clothes. He never thought he would be able to be this lucky to see her this way.

"You look... great."

Nabi looked at Changbin with a confused look on her face. She didn't understand how she could look great wearing sweats. All she saw was someone ugly.

Changbin couldn't keep his eyes away from Nabi. He wanted to see her more this way. He didn't want this to be a one time thing. But he was scared of rejection.

"Are you alright? Is it Minho? Did he threaten you for bringing me here?"

"Everything is fine. Minho's threats never work on me. Did you know that he even threatened all of us not to catch any feelings for you?"

Nabi didn't really understand why Minho would do something like that. As if any of his friends would like her more than a friend. It just didn't make much sense to her.

"Of course, it didn't stop me from falling."

This took Nabi by surprise. She always knew Changbin had been acting differently than Minho's other friends. However, she never thought it was because he liked her.

Suddenly, Changbin brought his right hand to Nabi's waist while his other hand cupped Nabi's cheek. As a reflex, she closed her eyes and waited for his lip to connect with her. And when it happened, she leaned into his touch and smiled against his lips.

Minho didn't need to know.
