Ever since Nabi told Changbin, he had been calling her every day to ask how she was feeling. He seemed very worried and she was grateful for that. He wanted to make sure she was taking care of herself and of the baby.

A few days later, their friends invited them over for a get together at their local bar. It was one of Nabi's favourite places as it was never jam packed with people. The vibe there was always chill and cosy. Changbin already asked her if she was certain about joining. But she knew she would be fine, promising she would tell him when she wanted to leave.

When Nabi arrived, Changbin was already waiting for her. He carefully gave her a hug, eventually letting her greet the others. Their friends didn't know just yet that she was pregnant, so perhaps this night would be the perfect moment to let them now.

While everyone had their glasses of beer and soju, Changbin gave Nabi a glass of ice tea while he had a lemonade. He didn't want to join their friends with the alcohol, since he knew she would be the only one who couldn't drink at all.

"I made an appointment for the first ultrasound. It's on Wednesday, so if you're free, you can come with if you'd like."

Her doctor mentioned the first ultrasound was a very big moment. Not only for the mom-to-be carrying the baby, but for the dad-to-be as well. So, Nabi wanted to give Changbin the opportunity to come along.

"I can make myself free. I wouldn't wanna miss it."

Nabi smiled, but it quickly disappeared when Lena walked their way. That woman always tried flirting with Changbin. Only, he never noticed it which made Lena believe he was just playing hard to get.

"Hey, handsome! Nabi, can I steal Changbin from you? Of course I can, right?"

"Lena, could you just leave me be for once?"

Changbin wouldn't normally push anyone away, not even Lena. So, of course, it shocked the two women when he did just that. Lena just rolled her eyes and sat down next to Changbin.

Nabi let out a sigh. She wanted to talk to Changbin about the ultrasound appointment. And about the baby in general, but with Lena around, she couldn't say anything.

"Would you take me home tonight? I don't feel like going along with my friends because they're already so drunk."

"I would if I could, but I already promised Nabi to walk her home. She's my best friend as you know, so I wouldn't wanna leave her alone."

Nabi got up from her seat as she needed to go to the restroom. Unfortunately, this meant she had to leave Changbin alone with Lena for a bit. She felt guilty, but she knew he wouldn't be mad at her.

"Be honest with me, babe. If Nabi is annoying you for being so clingy, just tell me. I could help you get rid of her. You deserve so much better."

Changbin wanted to speak up, he didn't know what was happening. He couldn't believe Lena would say something like that about Nabi. She was never clingy. He was the one who wanted to stay by her best friend's side.

Right when Nabi made her way back from the restroom, Lena tried to kiss Changbin. However, he quickly pushed her away, leaving everyone around them stunned.

Without a word, Changbin grabbed Nabi's hand and took her coat and purse with them. He wanted to leave the bar, to stay as far away from Lena as possible.

"Let's head to my place and order some food. What are you craving right now?"

Nabi let out a chuckle when suddenly seven guys appeared next to her. She smiled when she realized it were Changbin's closest friends. They were at the bar as well, so when they noticed their friend was in a hurry to leave, they followed.

Once they arrived at Changbin's apartment and their food arrived, it was time to share the news to the seven boys. They would be surprised, but would never judge them.

"We have something to share with you. We are expecting a baby."

"What? Since when were the two of you dating? Why have you never mentioned it?"

"Because we aren't, hyung. We were drunk and had a one night stand. It didn't ruin our friendship. Even now, I wouldn't dare to leave Nabi alone to take care of a baby, our baby."

The guys didn't say anything. Nabi understood it was hard to believe. She still couldn't grasp the fact that she was carrying life. But she was glad knowing she would have this baby with someone whom she trusted.

Without thinking, Nabi let her hands rests on her stomach. Since she wasn't far ahead, there was no bump visible at the moment.

Eventually, they dropped the topic of pregnancy and babies to enjoy a night of video games and banter.

After a long wait, Nabi was laying down on the examination table of her gynaecologist practice. She was feeling nervous since she had her first ultrasound. Though, she was looking forward to his moment.

Changbin was seated next her. He didn't know what to do as he tried to calm down his nerves. However, he decided to grab onto Nabi's hand. He wanted her to know that he was right there with her. Fortunately this calmed her down.

The doctor eventually pointed at the screen as she spotted to baby. At first, Nabi had a hard time finding her baby. Only when Changbin explained where to look, she found them.

"Right now, everything seems fine. There's nothing on the ultrasound that gives me concerns."

Nabi just nodded, as she turned her head to look at Changbin. His eyes were fixed on the screen, with a smile on his lips and twinkle in his eyes. Nabi didn't have to worry at all. He would never leave her alone with their baby.

When they were headed back to Nabi's apartment, Changbin's smile never disappeared. People were right, the first ultrasound was something no one wanted to miss.

"Thank you for coming with me."

"Of course! Seeing the baby just made me very excited to be a father. Although I'm not so sure if I'll be an amazing one, I know that you'll be an amazing mom."

Nabi smiled, feeling her cheeks heat up. She didn't really believe she would be a great mother, but it meant a lot to her. No matter what, she would always have Changbin around to help her and remind her that even if she doubted in herself, their baby would have parents who loved them.
