Pool day. Minji and Joonie wanted to visit an outdoor pool and relax. Nabi wasn't too fond of it. She knew how to swim and really enjoyed it when she was a kid. Things were different now. She was self-concious about her body and so wore a bathingsuit, not showing too much skin. Compared to the other girls.

Joonie was already glaring at Nabi, judging her. Yubin rolled her eyes, telling Joonie to quit it and leave her cousin alone.

"Ooh~ Changbin, come help me with the sunscreen!"

When the boys finally arrived at the swimming pool, Joonie immediately ran towards them. Nabi looked at her standing in front of Changbin, she could tell he wasn't liking the idea.

"I think you can do it yourself."

Joonie looked at him baffled, a little speechless as she was very confident he wanted to help her. She huffed in annoyance, shooting daggers at Nabi as if she was to blame. She called out for Yubin who immediately joined her, leaving her cousin alone once again.

"Seems like she got worse overnight."

Changbin appeared in front of Nabi, holding a floatie on his shoulder. She let out a chuckle when she realized it was a pink flamingo. It was cute.

"I might allow you to use my floatie, if you want."

Nabi just smiled and shook her head. She wasn't going to get into the pool for too long. She had brought her book along, so she wanted to read a bit, away from the water. Nabi looked around and found an empty lounge chair where she could take her place. Next to hers was another empty one, until Changbin placed his cap on there.

"Hey Nabi! This is a pool, not a library!"

Joonie seemed very proud of herself, laughing vigorously. No one else, except Minji and Yunseo seemed impressed by it. Maybe because it wasn't that much of a remark. Nabi just rolled her eyes, focusing on the book instead of the bully in front of her.

"Enjoy your book! I'll be floating around in the pool if you need me."

Changbin skipped off towards the pool, Joonie already beaming at the thought of being able to use the floatie. But when she tried to grab it from him, he shook her off. He didn't bring it with him to let her use it.

Nabi smiled, watching Changbin splash at his friends as he rested in the floatie. Minho tried pulling him into the water, first failing, but then succeeding. They were having fun and just seeing them be playful like that made Nabi happy.

Everyone had slowed down as time went by. Nabi put her book down and left her place, heading towards the restroom. When she came back, Joonie and her two minions weren't in the pool anymore. Changbin and the guys were still in the water.

When she made her way back to the lounge chair, two hands on her back pushed her towards the pool. Unable to keep her balance, Nabi found herself plunging into the water. When she came back to the surface, shaken by what happened, Joonie looked at her smugly.

"Joonie, what the hell?!"

Nabi didn't say a thing, she climbed out of the pool and took her book. She needed to be alone and get her bearings back. She didn't want to face anyone. She walked away from everyone, heading back to the pension, dripping water. Nabi sniffled and felt something being put on her shoulders. She looked next to her and saw Changbin. He didn't say a word, knowing she didn't want to talk about what happened.

As they arrived at the pension, Nabi made her way up the stairs towards the room. With the towel Changbin had given her, she dried herself off and put on some dry clothes. A few tears escaped her eyes.

After calming down, she went back downstairs where Changbin was waiting. He gave her a worrying look but didn't say a thing.

"I'm fine. You didn't have to come with me."

"I wanted to, I care about you, Nabi."

Nabi nodded, sitting down on the empty couch. She was still a bit shaken up. There was no doubt that she would avoid swimming pools for a while. Especially when other people were around, specifically Joonie.

To spend their time, they ended up watching something on TV. Nabi wasn't into the series that was playing, but Changbin seemed to enjoy it. So she didn't really mind having to follow the episodes as well.

Nabi had gone back to her room when the others came back from the swimming pool. She just wasn't ready to be around everyone again. She didn't need them to pity her for what happened and definitely wanted to avoid Joonie, Minji and Yunseo. Even Yubin, because as her cousin, she should have helped Nabi, but didn't.

What she didn't realize at first was that Changbin followed her up the stairs. Only at the door of her room, Nabi noticed him.

"Would you mind if I stayed?"

"I wouldn't... But don't you rather want to be with the others?"

She still rather wanted to be alone, but she had been around Changbin this whole afternoon, so she had gotten used to his presence. Being alone with him longer could actually be a good thing. But now there wasn't a boring TV showing playing to mask the silence around them.

"Being around the others means being near Joonie and away from you."

This was the second time Changbin was letting Nabi know that he didn't enjoy having Joonie around. Everyone always made it seem the two would end up together in a relationship. But it seemed more that Changbin would never like Joonie. She got everyone convinced, except him. And now, Nabi was finally seeing right through her actions.

"And I'd rather not be around her tomorrow either. Want to join me tomorrow for breakfast?"

Nabi was taken by surprise. Changbin just invited her to grab food with him. She didn't know what to say, her mind was full of thoughts. Did he want some of the others to join them as well? Or was he asking her only? What did this mean? She didn't really understand what was going on. Nabi was very oblivious.

"Sure. I wouldn't mind that."
