《Unexpected》Lucky - Pt. 3

During the fifth month, Nabi almost fell when she tried to reach for a glass. When Changbin found out, he didn't give her a choice and forced her to live with him. That way, he could keep an eye on her. Besides, he wouldn't have to miss anything important.

At first Nabi was against it. However, she gradually grew comfortable being around her best friend 24/7. They always had dinner together and shared many movie nights. Changbin helped Nabi with her cravings and looked after her. However, he could be overprotective.

Nabi had gone to the bathroom after she spilled some orange juice on her shirt. She was about to change into a new shirt when she saw the small baby bump in the mirror.

She never noticed it before since she wasn't keeping an eye on her body changes. However, seeing the bump now made her stare at it in awe. So much so, she didn't notice Changbin in the doorway.

"Are you alright?"

Nabi quickly turned around to the voice of Changbin. He let out a chuckle, his gaze avoiding to look down. His best friend wasn't wearing a top, so he didn't want to look.

"You can't just sneak up on a pregnant woman! You could have knocked. And please, pretty sure you saw me naked before."

"I was drunk when I did! And... Your belly button looks different."

Changbin finally looked down as his gaze landed on the baby bump. Seeing his best friend like that was a strange feeling. But he was allowed to see her like this, she is pregnant with his baby.

Letting out a chuckle, Nabi motioned to Changbin to get closer. When he did, she grabbed his hands and placed them on her belly. A smile appeared on his face.

"I've been thinking and I might tell my landlord I'm moving out officially."

When Nabi moved into Changbin's apartment, she still wanted to keep her own apartment. Staying with him was something she felt like she had to do, because Changbin didn't give her a choice. But now, she would rather want to raise the baby together.

A few days later, Nabi came back from a shopping trip to the mall with her mother. She bought a few things for the baby and some maternity clothes since her belly would be growing even more.

She didn't see Changbin at first, until she went into his office. Or, at least it used to be. His equipment was gone, instead Nabi saw a cod standing in the room. She immediately recognised it as the one she used as a baby.

"What's all this? How did you, why did you?"

Changbin smiled, proud of himself until he realized Nabi was crying. He came to her side, thinking he did something wrong only for Nabi to find comfort in his arms.

They stayed like that for a while until Nabi calmed down. She chuckled once she realized that she had been crying againt Changbin's chest. But she couldn't help it. Her homones were quite active and she was touched by his surprise.

"I'm glad you like it. How was the trip? Bought anything nice? I'm sure you're tired."

"I have a few things for the baby and some clothes for me. And I'm exhausted! My mom made sure I would rest my feet. Oh and I saw Lena today. She seemed surprised to see me."

Everyone already knew Nabi was pregnant. However only a few people knew who the father is. When Lena heard about the pregnancy, she didn't believe it at all. So, when she saw Nabi buying baby clothes with her mother, Lena finally found out the truth.

"She'd be more surprised if she knew I got you pregnant. Though it wouldn't stop her from flirting with me."

It was quite obvious Lena didn't flirt with Changbin because she liked him. She just hated Nabi and wanted to take her best friend away. Of course, it always failed because Changbin didn't like Lena.

"Enough about her. You should rest and watch some Gilmore Girls. I'll put your new things away"

Nabi smiled ans happily let Changbin take the bags she had dropped on the floor. She went back towards the living area while he stayed behind in the future baby room.

He was very relieved that Nabi liked it already. But since Nabi would be officially moving in with him, so their baby would have both of their parents around 24/7, he definitely wanted to turn his office into a nursery.

Once everything was put away, Changbin joined Nabi on the couch to watch Gilmore with her. It quickly became her favorite show to watch. It wasn't really his thing, yet he didn't mind watching it with Nabi.

"Lorelai is such a fun mum. Do you think I would be?"

"Of course! Our baby will be so lucky to have such an amazing mum and average dad."

Nabi just smiled, her eyes fixed on the TV screen. Without Changbin around, she would keep doubting herself. Fortunately, she won't have to do this alone. From all the guys in the world, she was glad Changbin would be the father to her child. They'd be great parents.
