Their immediate neighbor who just moved in was a family of three. The couple were in their thirties and had a daughter that was in sixth grade

They were a friendly family and immediately agreed to help Cheng Huan take care of XingXing when Cheng Huan asked

XingXing didn't have too much of a concept about money and didn't understand why she'd need to leave the house to make money

Sitting on the floor in the living room, XingXing had in front of him a pile of red and green wooden blocks

He picked up the blocks and started piling one above another. His motions were smooth; this was obviously not his first time doing this

The blocks slowly took shape and finally turned into a water wagon. XingXing looked up and at the door after he had placed the final piece of block

There were no sounds coming from the door. Cheng Huan would often leave the house sometimes unannounced

XingXing never knew what Cheng Huan did when she left

In reality Cheng Huan was either working or growing her weibo account

By working with influencers and take pictures with strangers when they asked for photos

All Cheng Huan asked for in return was to tag her, making her gain followers

Cheng Huan was often gone for long amount of times: sometimes she would go out in the morning and come home in the evening or the opposite

Cheng Huan even visited clubs with her new friends

This was the fifty time XingXing had to have lunch over at their neighbor's house

Cheng Huan knew the kindness of the neighbor aunt and the family that moved and often tricked them into babysitting XingXing

Just like today when Cheng Huan came home she was drunk and had a headache

He filled the glass up too high and inevitably spilled some water out as he walked

XingXing felt his heart ache when he saw the water that he had just filled splattering out of the glass

He was nervous and his action became more cautious. He only took a small step at a time very slowly

By the time the glass got into Cheng Huan's hand, she didn't care too much

XingXing feeling luckily quickly took a rag and cleaned the water not wanting to get yelled at tomorrow

Cheng Huan had just finished mopping when she heard her son. She turned her head and saw him holding the empty glass in his hands. He said in a serious manner, “I won’t spill any water next time!”

Cheng Huan in her drunken state just nodded along before she was woken up by XingXing couple minutes later who was tugging at her sleeves and headed towards her bed

This wasn't the first time XingXing had to wake up his drunk mother and forced her to go bed. He felt frustrated and worried at times wondering what would happen to his mother

Sometimes XingXing wonder if she would ever come home, he only felt relief once she came through the door

Cheng Huan learned a valuable lesson that day to stop drinking after 9pm because she would be nauseous and sick

As Cheng Huan finally realized her lesson she promised to come home earlier and the babysitters was starting to complain

Cheng Huan finally caved in and said she would go home by 1am instead 3am from now on

As the babysitters sigh they didn't know what to do with her but it was better than before

Cheng Huan neighbors just hoped she would stop acting like a child one of these days
