||Carla's perspective||
Eeeeee! I'm finally dating Jerome! I've been waiting to ask him for so long and I finally got the courage to do it! I pull out my phone and start to call him but after a few minutes of ringing nobody answered? Weird...Maybe he's just busy? I grab my car keys and start to walk to my car. I arrive at his house soon after and knock on the door.....No answer? Again? Okay...Now something is wrong..."Jerome!?" I knock on the door a bit harder and I still get no answer, "JEROME!?" I start bang on the door and try to open it but I cant...I really hope he's okay...
||Jeromes perspective||
I wake up tied to a chair and in some dark and creepy basement? I can feel a pounding in my head and I look up to see one of my friends...Penny...D-Did she do this? I look up at her eyes and I see that they are blue instead of green and, she has that fake smile she had when her mom was controlling her...W-What happened to her? Before I could think some more a voice from the shadows pulls me out of my thoughts. "Oh...I see your finally awake...Jerome..." Soon after saying that the person walks out the shadows to reveal that is none other than... Monty...? "M-Monty!? B-But why?! Why is Penny here!? WHY DID YOU KIDNAP ME!?" I say pulling on the ropes of the chair but Monty steps closer to me pulling out a pocket knife, and grins as I hear him say...
"This will be fun..."
||Carla's perspective||
BANG! I bust down Jerome's door and run in "JEROME!? WHERE ARE YOU?!" I still get no response so I start searching his house and then I hear a scream come from his basement. A chill runs down my spine as I slowly start to open the basement door to see Jerome tied to a chair, his head down, bleeding, and I see Penny guarding him and standing in front of him...Wait...Her eyes are blue...? Why? Anyways, I run down and check on Jerome and try to stop the bleeding but I hear footsteps to my left and I turn there to see Monty walking towards me with a knife and I psychotic smile on his face and then he says "Hello...Dear..." he takes a step closer and stops in front of me. "What did you do to Jerome!?" He laughs insanely and says "He was in the way of our love! He had to be....Taken care of...." He tried to grab my hand but I snatch it away and I see him start to pull out his pocket knife so I grab it out his hands and point it at his chest. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!!" He try's to tackle me but I put the knife out in front of me and stab him in the chest, as he falls to ground i hear Jerome groan and lift his head up. But as I start to untie his chair Penny grabs my shirt collar and her laser starts to charge up. I..Monty reprogrammed her...That monster...I fixed Penny when she blew up so I know she had a switch on the back of her neck that restarts her systems, that should snap her out of it...So I reach my hand behind her neck and push the button. She lets go of my shirt collar and a robotic voice says "Reboot initiated" and she hangs her head down and stands there, I think it worked...Once she lets go of my shirt collar I untie Jerome and he falls out the chair, as I catch him he says weakly "C-Carla? W-What happened?" I rub his head and say "Shh...It's okay...Your safe now..."
||✨Prologue✨ (3rd person perspective)||
Carla took Jerome to the hospital and he was fine just with a broken arm. Monty got arrested and sentenced to life in federal prison, after 5 years in a mental hospital because he was declared mentally unstable for the prison. Penny got rebooted but she was still found as an accessory to the kidnapping but because she wasn't in control of herself (and because she's a android) she got a 10,000$ fine and on house arrest for a week. Carla and Jerome forgave Penny but Jerome is still scared of her a little.
||-End. I couldn't find the minimum sentence for accessory to kidnapping so I made Penny's up but i found Monty's so his is true...I completely forgot they were kindergarteners btw, lol-||
