Chapter 9||Date?

Luke's P.O.V

After a few hours everyone woke up and the teacher that told off Calum yesterday came in.

"You can all leave school."

"YESSSS!!!!!" Michael shouted. Everyone turned to face him.

"What? I'm just happy to get out of this hell-hole." He said. The teacher glared at him then left the room.

Everyone left the room to go home and it was only me and Evelyn left in the classroom.

"Evelyn?" I whispered, but still loud enough for her to hear me.

"Yeah." She said as she turned towards me.

"I was w..wondering if you wanted to go on....a..a date?" I asked not looking her in the eye. What if she says no? The I remembered what Layla had told me. She had a crush on me. After I remembered that I gained some confidence and looked at her. She was smiling.

"Of course I'd like to go on a date with you." She said grinning even wider.

I smiled. "Okay, I'll pick you up at seven. If that's okay with you."

"Yeah sure." She said. "See you tonight." I smiled as she left the room.

When I got home I wondered where I was going to take her.
Since I didn't have loads of money, I am going to take her out on a little picnic in the park. I needed a little help though. Suddenly my phone started ringing.

"Helooo." I said as I picked up my phone.

"Hi." It was Evelyn. "Uh..I was wondering what I should wear. Should I wear something formal or casual?" She asked.

I laughed. "Wear whatever you want. Where were going it doesn't really matter."

"Oh. Where are we going?"

"I can't tell you."

"Ugggghhh....Luke. Please tell me." She said trying to make her voice sound cute. Even though it did.

"No."

"Fine. Bye!" She said, hanging up.
